MIP B6 series 17.5 Race topshaft

MIP have introduced the 17.5 Race topshaft for the Team Associated B6 series of buggies. The part offers a 30 percent decreased tooth width and an 18 percent weight reduction equating to less drag and less overall rotating mass when compared to its OEM counterpart. The ultra-light topshaft is made out of 7075-T6 aluminium and finished off with a premium strength high-grade hard-anodised coating.

MIP B6-series Roller Pucks gear diff kit

Coming from MIP and made for Team Associated’s sixth generation 1/10th off-road buggies is the Roller Pucks gear diff set. Usable with gear-diff-equipped B6, B6D and also the older B5-series buggies, the kit includes all needed parts to convert the standard drivetrain to Roller Pucks specifications. Part of the package are gear diff outdrives, R-CVD shiny bones, the Roller Pucks assembly as well as spacers and other small parts. The kit required the original CVA wheel axles and diff gear and it will become available by mid-September.

MIP’s popular Roller Pucks bi-metal drive system is now also available for the TLR 22 3.0 buggy. The design with alloy diff ring discs and steal outdrives makes for a 25 percent weight reduction compared to the stock parts, without compromising strength and durability, making the set ideal for modified racers who wish to save on rotational mass. The kit is also usable for 13.5T Super Stock racers and it includes replaceable Roller Pucks, tungsten carbide diff balls, machined aluminium T-nut and all necessary lubes.

Following the introduction of the +3mm offset 17mm hex adapter kit for the TLR Ten-SCTE range of short course trucks MIP now also release a standard offset variant. The kit allows to mount 1/8th scale wheels on TLR’s 4WD short course truck in order to increase the range of possible wheel and tyre combinations especially for bashers and also outlaw racing classes. The hex adapters are machined from high-quality aluminium, they are a direct fit on all SCTE platforms and they come with suitable mounting hardware and blue anodised 17mm wheel nuts.

MIP SCTE 17mm Hex Adapter kit +3mm offset

MIP have introduced the 17mm Hex Adapter kit with +3mm offset for the TLR Ten-SCTE 4WD short course truck. It allows to use 1/8th scale buggy wheels on the truck, greatly expanding the usable wheel and tyre range especially for bashers and any very-high-power appliction. Originally introduced with MIP’s Pro8 kit the hubs, made from 7075-T6 aluminium, will fit all SCTEs, from 1.0 up to the latest 3.0, and their heavy duty construction allows the use of up to 4S power. The set included four hex hubs, four 17mm wheel nuts and mounting grub screws.

Coming from MIP and made for Team Associated’s B6 2WD buggy is the Roller Pucks bi-metal drive system. It features two-piece bi-metal outdrives that are comprised of both 7075–T6 aluminium and high-grade heat tempered machine steel to shred 30 percent off of the OEM rotating mass, which equates to quicker acceleration without compromising strength. Being that the diff outputs are steel, it is fully compatible with the popular MIP Roller Pucks which have a 360 degree wear pattern and are 100 percent replaceable. The system is ideal for racers using 10.5T motors or higher and it not only fits the new B6 but also the older B5 and B5M. The kit includes all needed parts to perform the conversion minus the stock diff gear, wheel axles and CVA rebuild kit.

MIP have release the carbide diff ball rebuild kit for the Team Associated B6. Featuring tungsten carbide diff balls, hardened and polished diff/thrust rings, new spring and screw, as well as MIP’s rebuildable aluminium T-nut the kit basically includes all needed parts to rebuild a B6 series ball differential. Not included though are the diff gear and outdrives but a diff lube and grease cup. The set fits both AE’s B6 and B5 series kits.

Coming from MIP and made for all TLR 22 series vehicles with ball differentials is the carbide ball diff rebuild kit. Featuring tungsten carbide differential balls, hardened and polished diff and thrust rings, new spring and screw as well as all necessary lubes. Also included is MIP’s rebuildable aluminium T-nut that has 30 percent better break away force and superior shear strength when compared to a conventional t-nut.
