MIP Axial C1 X-Duty CVD spline drive sets

Coming from MIP is a range of C1 X-Duty CVD spline drive sets for several Axial off-road vehicles. A tried and true design, the male and female centre driveshaft halves are utilising a nine spline design to distribute the load throughout the system to ensure the highest load efficiency and wear characteristics. The sets include front and rear centre driveshafts, mounting hardware and they are available for the AX10 and SCX10 line of vehicles.

MIP Roller Pucks rebuild kit

MIP have introduced the Roller Pucks .150 x .093 rebuild kit for the newly released Roller Pucks drive system. This all-in-one kit is directly targeted towards those that already use the MIP Pucks system with steel outdrives and want to upgrade to MIP’s new Roller Pucks system which features a metal rolling bushing rather than a plastic sliding puck. The refresh kit includes all needed parts to upgrade two driveshafts such as two Roller Puck pins, four Roller pucks and three button head screws.

MIP Rollers Puck Drives for 1/10th off-road vehicles

During last weekend’s final of the 2015 JConcepts Indoor National Series MIP have shown us their all-new Roller Pucks drive system. Building on the design of MIP’s popular Pucks drive system, the design revolves around 360 degree rotatable bushings that can move freely inside the driveshaft bone while also being able to rotate independently of the pin that captures them. This, together with a clever material mix makes for greatly improved wear characteristics compared to the composite Pucks system. The system was specially designed for Modified class racing and it replaces the standard outdrive and drivepin assembly with a construction that is much less prone to wear while being easier on the wallet as only the metal pucks need to be replaced once they start to wear whereas the standard “narrow drive pin” design make the replacement of both the driveshaft and outdrive necessary. The Rollers Puck system is fully compatible with MIP’s Pucks and 17.5 Aluminum Pucks drive system meaning the plastic parts can easily be replaced with the Roller Pucks hardware set although the somewhat delicate aluminium drives are only recommended for the use in 17.5T buggy. The MIP Roller Pucks drive systems will soon be available for all popular 2WD and 4WD buggies as well as for many trucks.

MIP TLR 22T 2.0 17.5T Pucks drive system

MIP have introduced the 17.5T Pucks drive system for the TLR 22T 2.0 race truck. The aluminium based drivetrain system which aluminium diff outdrives, aluminium C-CVD bones, and replaceable plastic orange wear pucks that take the place of inferior steel pins. This combination greatly increases the longevity of the drivetrain and most importantly decreases the drivetrain’s overall rotating mass by around 50 percent The decrease in weight directly results in quicker acceleration, deceleration, and lower motor temps especially in stock racing classes.

MIP Rollers D413 drive system

Coming from MIP and made for the HB D413 4WD buggy is the all-new Rollers drive system. Based on the design ideas of the rebuildable Pucks system for 2WD buggies the Rollers offer better wear characteristics for demanding applications such as 4WD buggies while being completely rebuildable at the same time. The design revolves around replaceable tubes that offer a larger surface than conventional pins and due to their softer material they are also less harsh on the outdrives as they wear faster than the steel parts while being much cheaper to replace than a full driveshaft. The sets are available for the front and the rear of the D413 and they include new shiny driveshafts, the rollers and new steel outdrives.

MIP 1/5th scale limiter strap set & header gasket

New from MIP and made for large scale off-road vehicles such as the Losi 5ive-T are a limiter strap set and a header gasket. Starting with the suspension limiter straps, the set offers scale looks, functionality, and adjustability. Their main purpose is to limit the overall extension of the shock as to prevent it from overextending and doing damage to the piston, eyelet, rod end, and shock retainer. There are also many secondary benefits of these straps including not bending the arm at the droop screw pivot point, keeping the arms and chassis in better condition, and the droop set correctly on both sides. Included in the set are four limiter straps, limiter strap buckles and strap mounts.

MIP 5ive-T Super Diff Kit

MIP have introduced the Super Diff Kit for the Losi 5ive-T large scale vehicle. The multi-piece set makes for improved efficiency, enhanced durability, and less overall weight by utilising high-quality 7075 aluminium cross pins and machined alloy pin supports. The parts reduce the overall rotating mass and help with oil cooling while making for improved gear alignment at the same time. Also included are high-quality steel sun gear washers. The parts are a direct fit to the standard 5ive-T differentials.
