Fastrax Hauler bag & Transmitter cases

Fastrax has released a range of new carry cases for both your radio equipment as well as your general race gear. Starting with this large multi-function hauler bag for transporting vehicles up to 1/8th scale, this beast of a bag has integrated wheels and an telescopic tow handle for easy maneuvering and 3 large side pockets for storage of tools and gear. Peel back the easy access side panel to reveal 3 further compartments for storing your car and RC essentials. Fastrax have also released two new padded transmitter cases for both stick and pistol type radios that will keep everything inside protected during transport to and from the track.

Jared Tebo Limited Edition ST-RR

Kyosho America are packaging the Inferno ST-RR alongside a Team Orion CRF Rev .21 engine to give you the Jared Tebo Limited Edition ST-RR. Limited to 50 pieces, your money will also get a Tebo autographed numbered decal and Jared’s Silver State setup sheet. The release didn’t give any word on whether buying both the standard car and engine together is a better deal than buying them separately, but without any extra option parts or anything else special included, we would hope it is.

Exotek Racing TC5X LiPo Chassis

New from Exotek Racing is this LiPo chassis for the Team Associated TC5, called the TC5X. The chassis is designed and tested to equalize lateral flex, so no more inconsistent flex problems caused by 6 large battery cut out like in the stock chassis. The net result is much more predictable handling. With the unique CNC manufactured stainless steel weights your LiPo battery can be positioned to have equal left and right balance within grams without the need to add lead weight and without raising the battery up higher. The chassis has also been narrowed to 100mm wide for less chassis scrub through the corners for better corner speed, while the servo mounting has been moved forward a few mm for extra room for other electronics.

Titanium Racing Low Friction pinions

Titanium Racing release a new range of pinions designed specifically for modern brushless motors. Featuring a longer but lightened boss for improved concentricity and an advanced F1 motorsport ceramic polymer coating for incredibly low friction, the pinion has 60% lower friction than that of hard anodized pinions. Manufactured from ultrasonically tested aero-grade 7075T-6 alloy, these claim to represent a giant leap in pinion gear technology. Tested on all modern touring cars, with all of the popular spurs, they run virtually silently. Available in both 48P and 64P.

Etronix DC Power Pal charger

Etronix have added a new DC only Power Pal to their line up, which saw the brand’s first charger, an AC/DC version, launched back in April. Small and compact this 12V DC version features a microprocessor controlled high performance charger, discharger, cycler for NiCd/NiMH/Lithium/Pb batteries along with an integrated cell voltage balancer. Other features include a temperature sensor option and an integrated Lithium battery balancer.

Xray Asian Championship – Announcement

On the 15th to 16th of August, the ACO racing track in Fanling, Hong Kong will play host to the Xray Asian Championship Nitro Touring Challenge. Open only to racers with the 1/10th scale Xray NT1 chassis, using a Protoform body shell, your entry fee will not only let you take part but includes Tornado fuel for the duration of the event, a Dinner buffet on Sunday night and free transport to and from the track and the official hotel. Martin and Juraj Hudy will be present, not only to compete but will also be giving Tech talks and helping drivers with their cars throughout the weekend. Hot Bodies D8 & D8T Lightweight accessories

Hot Bodies have released a whole range of new lightweight accessories used by Team HB drivers and suitable for the D8 and D8T cars. Replacing the stock steel versions, these lightweight aluminium parts include the upper shock fixing balls, upper suspension fixing balls, steering push rod balls, sway bar holders, shock end balls and finally king pin bushings. All parts are hard coated and sold in sets of 4.
