Reds Racing high quality 1/10 pinions

Reds Racing have announced their new line of 1/10 scale pinion gears. They utilised all of their engineers and product developers to design a ground up pinion that not only has the strength to outlast their competitors but also comes in at an ultralight weight and generates low friction. Reds Racing pinions are made of the best quality aluminium and a special coating treatment allows the teeth to last longer than any other pinion on the market, consequently high speed, strength and durability are the core base of this new project. These pinions are developed with both stock and mod racing in mind and are available in both 48P (18-31T) and 64P (24-52T).

Destiny RX-10SR 3.0 touring car

Following weeks of teaser images on their social media, Destiny have finally released full information on their all RX-10SR 3.0 touring car. Following the trend of removing the shock towers, the shock absorbers are now mounted to the bulkheads. The front and rear upper arms are made from a moulded composite material which is length adjustable, while the lower arms are carbon fibre plate, with all arms using pivot ball mounting which ensures free movement and extra adjustability. A new single piece design motor mount with Multi-Flex chassis adjustment features adjustable front and rear belt tensioners and battery backstops. The new lower bulkheads install with upper bulkheads with centering pin for a more reliable mounting. All this plus a whole lot of other changes.

Xray RX8’23 1/8th nitro onroad chassis

Xray have announced their all new RX8’23 1/8th nitro onroad platform. The car is a major update on its predecessor with only a few parts carrying over from the old car. The all new chassis has narrowed front suspension pivots to increase stability & traction, more chassis cutouts to create greater flex in desired locations and additional chassis cutouts to improve engine cooling. Hard composite suspension arms combined with the improved central chassis flex keeps the suspension geometry stable while the flex is transferred through chassis and radio plate to maintain traction. Narrower front suspension holders help improve geometry, while longer lower suspension arm shock mounting holders compensate for the narrower suspension holders to maintain the ideal shock absorber geometry. Lower down-stop mounting holders without the eccentric geometry make the car easier to set suspension down-stops. There is all-new front aluminium bulkheads with a lowered design and new front upper clamps that feature integrated upper shock mounting positions, eliminating the need for a separate front shock tower. An innovative front upper shock mounting directly on the upper clamps adjusted via shims provide more flex on front suspension. A new front upper bulkhead brace for easy flex adjustments. More stability with the brace installed, more traction and steering when the brace is removed. There is an ultra-compact and super lightweight receiver box that moves the weight lower and closer to the centre of the chassis. The radio plate with new servo holders moves the throttle servo more rearwards with a more central location for the receiver box. Plus many more changes that make up the all new RX8.

Yokomo BL-RPX3 Competition ESC

Yokomo’s new RPX speed controller is finally here. The RPX3 is the new flagship model that surpasses the performance of the previous RPX speed controller. While maintaining the overwhelming power that reaches maximum RPM instantly, the throttle feel has been optimised by smoothing out the power delivery, adding a controllable characteristic that prevents breakdowns even when power is increased. An auto mode that changes boost in accordance with throttle is also included, enabling high-boost driving with a linear curve. The boost value can now be increased to a maximum of 75, whereas in the past the upper limit was 60, and instantaneous power has reached a level far beyond what was previously available. A dedicated programmer is required to change the RPX3 program and is now also available. They also plan to distribute firmware to update the old programmer (BL-R26P), but you will need to revert to the old firmware if you wish to change the program of the old ESC after the update.

ARC R8.3 & R8.3E adjustable front & rear shock base

From ARC, the adjustable front and rear shock base are the latest option parts designed for the R8.3 and R8.3E. This allows the shock angle to be adjusted by adding or removing shims. Compared to traditional shock towers, racers can adjust the shock angle in much finer increments to better fine tune the handling of their car, the more shims below the shock absorber the harder the suspension. Both shock bases also feature a 3mm carbon brace that bridges the left and right sides of the shock base. This brace can be added or removed to adjust the flex of the front bulkhead. With the plate installed in the front there is an increase in initial corner speed, while when the rear version is installed there is an increase in rear end stability.
