Picco have introduced their new P-SIX engine, the answer to drivers looking for a real good 6 port turbo performance engine at a competitive price. Featuring quality internal parts for a long lasting engine, driveability and fuel economy are optimized for the latest buggy chassis’. Internally designed with low timing so you can fully appreciate the torque as well as the top speed its 6 port configuration offers easy-to-tune characteristics and strong low end power. Supplied with a 14mm ‘turbo’ crankshaft, ‘knife edged’ aerodynamic connecting rod, hard chromed brass lapped 6 port liner, lightened piston CNC machined from high percentage silicone alloy billet, turbo combustion chamber insert, light weight cooling head, 14mm main bearing, front rubber sealed dust protected bearing and the latest special designed buggy composite slide carburetor with 7.0mm venturi insert.

Available only as optional it features a 2 o-ring high speed needle, optimized spray-bar, long low-speed needle, easy to adjust idle screw, composite insulator bushing and it fits all Boost and P-Series engines.

Joern Neumann signs for Team Picco

Former LRP driver Joern Neumann has signed a deal that will see him race Italian made Picco engine for 2011. Joining Ricardo Rabitti running Boost engines, the factory Durango driver is a contender for the win at any race he attends and will be a great addition to their Offroad team, helping to promote and develop the brand.

Picco have announced that their Boost 21 buggy engine is now available as part of a combo pack at a very interesting price. The 3 port ABC engine, which features a lightened crankshaft with silicon paste as well as an over-sized turbo head insert is now bundled with the company’s EFRA 2046 exhaust system in this nice Boost combo packaging.

Picco Boost .21 Competition buggy engine

Italian engine company Picco have released details on their new .21 competition buggy engine, the ‘Boost’. Optimised for improved fuel economy and drivability, this 3 port ABC engine, features a lightened crankshaft with silicon paste. Sporting an over-sized turbo head insert, the cooling head has been lightened through the use of holes in the fins to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible. The motor is supplied with a composite slide carburetor with 6 and 7mm venturis, and both the crankcase and cooling head sport update graphics.

Picco to power Riccardo Rabitti in 2010

More Italian driver news as it has been confirmed that on-form Losi team driver Riccardo Rabitti has joined Picco for 2010. Having raced the last few seasons with Sirio power, Riccardo had enjoyed considerable success having taking back to back Italian National titles in 2008 and 2009 and making the European Championship final in 2009 and 2007. Riccardo will be utilizing the company’s latest Evo4 buggy engine in his Losi 8ight as he aims to defend his National title and prepare for the 2010 Worlds in Pattaya.
