Picco Micromotori in Italy have released this new competitively priced 3.5cc competition buggy engine, the P3-R Evo Turbo. This .21cc motor sports a 14mm crankshaft, hard chrome liner and CNC machined billet piston. In addition a ‘knife edge’ aerodynamic connecting rod, Swiss ball bearings and a composite slide carburettor, supplied with a 6mm and 7mm venturi, complete the package. Available now.

Picco P1 .12 Turbo Factory tuned engine

Picco in Italy have introduced their new P1 .12 Turbo factory tuned engine. This competition touring car engine has been hand assembled and bench tested by the Eduardo Picco to ensure top performance and is supplied in a handy carbon fibre look Picco bag, which includes the EFRA 2651 exhaust system and 5 P6TC turbo plugs.

Picco .21 Buggy Evo4 engine

Italian engine company Picco Micromotori have released their latest 3.5cc buggy engine with the introduction of the .21 Buggy Evo4. The motor features a completely redesigned combustion chamber, which is now larger, and a new cooling head, which together help better dissipate heat from the engine. The carburetor has also received some attention and has been improved by using two o-rings on the max needle to prevent any air entering the carb, while the low needle shape has been given a new shape for smoother power delivery and better fuel consumption.

Picco P-Zero 1/8th clutch set

Picco P-Zero 1/8th clutch set

Italian company Picco Micromotori have released their P-Zero 1/8th scale on road clutch set. Supplied with 2 springs, a hard and super hard version, both are made with a special material that does not lose tension even after long use, which helps keep the clutch consistent for the length of a race avoiding any loss of torque. The set includes the flywheel, lightweight flyweights, shoe plate and shoe, but does not come with the bearings or the clutch bell.

Picco P-Zero MRX-4 Transmission kit

Picco P-Zero MRX-4 Transmission kit

Italian company Picco, most famous for their engines, have started a new line of optionals called ‘P-Zero optional parts’. Their first product is this lightweight transmission kit for the Mugen MRX-4 1/8th scale, the same car company head Alberto Picco used to win the recent Worlds warm up race. The set, which can also be used with the Kyosho M3 (apart from the solid rear axle), includes the front and rear axles, 4 wheel nuts, 2 front drive cups, the rear solid axle and a set of 8 shims. All parts are made with high quality material and accurately machined to ensure the best match with the current drive shafts. The P-Zero line will also soon include a 1/8th scale on-road clutch, but more details to come on that later.

Picco Micromotori in Italy have been in touch to tell us about their new .21 on road engine. Based on the P7-R Evo 3 EDO Mod, this special edition sports a new cooling head and the company has bench tested it to ensure top performance. The engine is supplied in a handy carbon fibre look Picco bag, which includes the EFRA 2033 exhaust system and 5 turbo plugs.

Toy Fair 2009 – Picco & IDM

Picco Evo 4 .12 engine

World Champions Picco Micromotori are present, and are one of the only RC manufacturers to not be in the hall 7A. They are showing off their new .12 engine, the Evo 4, which has been completely revamped with a new crankcase, cranksahft, conrod and liner, with the liner having its ports raised by 0.2mm to help deliver more torque. The crankpin has also been modified to be smaller, which allows the conrod to have more material around the conrod bushing to improve durability.

Picco P7-R EVO 3 Buggy motor

Seen on the Picco stand in Nuremberg, the Italian engine manufacturer has released details about their new buggy motor, the P7.0R Evo3. Developed especially for off road racing, the porting of the hard chrome and brass liner has been designed to offer a very smooth power brand. This 5 port motor is equipped with Swiss quality ball bearings throughout, a 14mm Crankshaft and a CNC Machined piston.
