CS Electronic have released a new 7200mAh LiPo pack featuring the unique Silver Protect system. The addition of silver ions not only allows a much higher discharge power, up to 75C continuously with a maximum of 150C, but it also provides a lower internal resistance of the cells for a longer life span despite high charge rates. EFRA approved it comes with a hard case for protection and bullet connectors.

SRC have sent us a sneak peek at their all new Lola 012 1/8th scale on road body shell. Set to be unveiled at this week’s Nuremberg toy fair, the new shell offers lots of downforce and great turn in as well as increased engine cooling thanks to its very low top surface. EFRA homologated (31529), it comes in high quality 0.75mm and 1mm thick polycarbonate.

FTW Racing Components today added to its 1:8 buggy lineup with the introduction of the new Night Fox body for Mugen’s MBX6R. The newest Night Fox exhibits the same proven handling characteristics and striking stealth-inspired styling for which FTW is known. “As you will see, with the Night Fox for MBX6R we’ve maintained all that has made the Night Fox series popular—the stability and downforce it adds to the handling of the car, the quality, durability, and of course the stealth-inspired styling,” said FTW co-founder John Riewe. “Plus, Night Fox’s low roof line leaves more of the engine head exposed for better cooling without making the car look like a truck,” added FTW co-founder Joshua Riewe. Austrian Novarossi distributor Hoeco have released a limited edition 9 port .21 on road engine called the ‘Volksmotor’. This engine comes with a sub €200 price range and features a 14mm lightened crankshaft, 8mm venturi as per EFRA rules and a 9 port liner for lots of top end power. Expect it to be available by the end of February.

Equipped with a touch sensitive color LCD screen and specialized touch software, it’s a brand new experience in the field of battery charging. The centre piece of this new charger is the Spectra TFT color touch screen which allows you to reach all the different features of the system with ease. The charger itself is an AC/DC unit with 0.1 to 5A output current and 0.1 to 1.0A discharge current and it can handle all the modern lithium based battery types up to 6 cells. Jammin has released two new tool sets, a hex wrench set and a screw driver set. Both sets come supplied in a handy plastic container and each of the tools features a handle made out of anodized aluminium for maximum durability with a comfortable feel allowing for maximum grip. The tips are replaceable and made out of a very durable steel alloy making them almost impossible to strip. Each wrench has a laser etched wrench size on the handle and a different color end cap making it easier to locate the wrench size quickly. The hex wrench set includes a 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm & 3.0mm while the screw driver set comes with a Philips 3mm, Philips 5mm, flat 3mm & flat 5mm.

New from Axial Racing to set your Wraith up for high speed rock racing, or Recon G6 Challenge style events is this front and rear sway bar kit. Designed for high speed this system will let you soften up your suspension for jumps, while keeping torque twist and body lean to a minimum during acceleration. A sway bar’s main function is to control body roll, yet still allow your shocks to move vertically with the changing terrain giving you more stability at high speed. Each sway bar lever is made from CNC machined black anodized aluminium and each kit includes three different steel sway bars (soft, medium and firm) for fine tuning body roll and suspension articulation. All required hardware is also included.
