RC Maker HRP Body Mounts Pro

New from RC Maker is this new ultra Lightweight Body Mounting System for use with their Horizontal Rear Body Posts.  Their original HRP Lite system was a huge success with thousands of racers opting to mount their bodies with the system.  After months of feedback from drivers around the world as well as our team drivers consisting of the likes of Marc Rheinard, Yannic Prumper, Akio Sobue and Nicholas Lee, RC Maker set out to further improve on what was already a great product.  Weighing just 6.5g/pair, the new HRP Pro is based around a US Grade 7075 Aluminium mount.  With built in threads, incredible durability and minimal weight, they have also added locating pins which allows the HRP Pro do be adjusted in 1mm increments, and also stops it moving if the screws happen to come loose. On top of this, it also helps you to get them even left to right.  They have also designed the carbon bracket to accommodate these locating pins, and also added more material around the body mount hole for improved durability. Opting for “1mm Play” this means the holes are now oval with a small amount of vertical play to allow the car to flex and move under the body over curbs and bumps.

RC Maker A800MMX Long Rear Steering Arms

Another new release from RC Maker is this latest evolution of their GeoCarbon Rear Steering Arms for the Awesomatix A800MMX which is now longer.  Representing similar geometry to that of the new AM23-R arms, these longer arms are between a normal front and rear arm in length, and aim to improve the efficiency of the active rear toe.  These longer arms numb down the toe change as the suspension compresses or unloads, which makes the car less volatile.  This can be particularly handy on bumpy or tracks with lots of elevation changes. Compared to the standard alloy arms, these are lighter, and offer more flex in the toe axis, which in many cases can give the car more traction.  The arms feature a pressed 7075 Alu M3 Threaded Insert, which allow you to directly screw ST24/ST24M/ST24L into the carbon arms.  RC Maker recommend using ST24M with these to ensure sufficient thread into the arms.  They are CNC machined from 3mm 3K Gloss Carbon Fibre, with tight tolerances to ensure perfect fit onto any version of your AM06 Hubs.

RC Maker A800 Carbon Short Wheelbase Arms

RC Maker has release brand new short wheelbase arms for the Awesomatix A800MMX & A800FX. Available in 7, 8 or 9mm options, the CNC machined carbon arms were first developed over a year ago, and through several profile tests after feedback from numerous team drivers around the world, the Australian company has now settled on the final design.  The arms feature a larger profile than the kit arms to increase the rigidity of the arm.  They also feature a carbon rib which further increases the stiffness of the arm at the point of shock attachment. This creates less twisting of the arm and reduces unwanted inputs into the shock absorbers due to arm flex. In our testing these arms increased corner speed by reducing the flex and grip the arm was generating, which made the car more free in the corner.

RC Maker Aligned Droop Blocks

RC Maker has introduced another staple to their line of setup tools with these Aligned Droop Blocks for 1:10 Onroad.  Taking everything they didn’t like about conventional droop blocks, they have created the ultimate pair of droop blocks for your pit table!  The unique shape of the blocks means that the contact patch of the blocks to your setup board and chassis is minimal, preventing imperfections in each surface from effecting your droop reading.  One major feature of these droop blocks is the ability to fix the distance between them, and keep them square to each-other!  When you place normal droop blocks down, they’re always in a different spot and always on some angle and not square to the chassis.  The Aligned droop blocks fix this problem, you can set the distance of the blocks and tighten the set screw on the blocks along the included titanium coated shaft. This keeps them in the same position all day, ensuring you can repeatedly put your droop blocks in the same position on the car and make sure they’re square to each-other.  When done for the day, loosen the set screws and disassemble down flat.  The droop blocks are machined from U.S Grade 7075 Alloy, and are extremely lightweight and strong.  They feature black anodising with silver chamfered edges, as well as a laser engraved RC Maker logo.

RC Maker Geocarbon Tweak Plate 1:10 Onroad

RC Maker has as part of its latest batch of product releases introduced this Geocarbon Tweak Plate for 1:10 Onroad.  De-tweaking your chassis is an absolutely essential, and an ongoing part of onroad racing. Having a flat chassis is crucial to balanced and consistent handling. Often a setup board is used, which requires the removal of tyres and has no access to the lower screws from underneath. This is a problem, and why we developed the GeoCarbon Tweak Plate! The beauty of the GeoCarbon Tweak Plate, is that it can be used with the tires on, and also provides access to essential bulkhead and motor-mount screws. This allows you to keep the chassis flat or pinned down with a tweak stick whilst you tighten the lower screws, ensuring no tweak is introduced on the lower screws – which has never been possible until now! The GeoCarbon Tweak Plate can also double as a car stand. It features 5mm Thick Solid Carbon Fiber, with high quality feet and anti slip rubber pads to ensure it stays in place and stands the test of time. Suits all current Touring & Front Wheel Drive Cars on the market.

The carbon can be removed from the stand by only removing two screws that attach the carbon to the base. The carbon features two 7075 Aluminium standoffs for rigidity which can be easily removed with 2 screws. So 4 screws removed and you can flat pack it for travelling! The base contains several voids for holding screws, shims, body clips and many other parts, handy for keeping things clean.

RC Maker Awesomatix Damper Piston Height Set Tools

RC Maker has produced this new Damper Piston Height Tool to help make building your Awesomatix D2.2 Dampers a breeze! When assembling the dampers, it’s important to ensure the P63 piston is at the correct height throughout the build and upon completion. Traditionally you would need to keep checking and pushing the piston back down throughout the build.  That’s where these handy tools come in! They screw down inside the damper shaft and touch the top of the P63 to correctly set the height. This way you can forget about needing to check it throughout the build. The tools can be screwed in and out with your fingers or a 2mm driver into the end.
