RDRP Durango aluminium 1/10 big bore shock options

Revolution Design Racing Products introduce the Team Durango aluminium big bore shock cap and preload nut R2 set. The revised parts are of an updated design to allow for a more convenient ride height adjustment and to create improved looks. The aluminium preload nuts are now modelled after RDRP’s popular Kyosho RB6 parts to make for ever better grip when adjusting the spring preload while the updated lower shock caps cover the machined recession that is not used when leaving the shock boots off. This makes for an overall sleeker look and easier cleaning. All parts are made from high quality 7075-T6 aluminium, the preload nuts are gold anodised while the shock caps are black of colour. Included with the set also come suitable rubber O-rings for the preload nuts.

RDRP Team Durango precision spur gears R2

New from Revolution Design Racing Products come updated spur gears for the use with Team Durango’s 1/10th scale off-road vehicles. The redesigned and wider Revolution2 gears offer improved durability compared to the previous spurs. The increased contact patch with the pinion is especially helpful when using low-turn modified motors while offering exceptional efficiency for stock spec classes. All gears feature machined venting and weight reducing holes to minimise heat build-up when running a soft slipper setting and they come with engraved size markings for easy identification. The gears are available as Stock racing 72T and Modified racing 87T variant.

Revolution Design Racing Products Ultra Bearings

New from RDRP is a line of high-quality ball bearings as a replacement for worn-out ball races or as instant upgrade when building a new kit. Their special construction with a protective rubber seal on the “outer” side and a low-friction steel shield on the “inner” side maximise the protection against the elements while optimising the drivetrain’s efficiency compared to all-rubber shielded ball races. This makes them especially useful in demanding applications such as electric and nitro off-road racing. A low-drag lubricant further adds to the ultra smooth operation with the bearings being available as complete car sets for many Team Associated, Team C, Team Durango, Kyosho, Mugen, Schumacher, TLR, and Yokomo kits as well as individually in 4-piece sets.

Carsten Keller joins Revolution Design Racing Products

German 1/8th scale off-road front runner, Carsten Keller has teamed up with Revolution Design Racing Products. The 2013 German 1/8th E-Buggy champion and 2014 EFRA Euros top 5 finisher will use the full line of RDRP tools, wrenches and accessories to work on his Kyosho rides during his 2015 campaign.

Ultra Flat Head Carburettor Wrench

The new Revolution Design Racing Products Ultra Flat Head Carburettor Wrench is a dedicated flat head screwdriver to adjust and monitor the carb needle settings on nitro and gasoline engines. Offering a hardened spring steel 4×0.8mm tool tip the wrench is ideal to adjust the carburettor’s mixture needles while a gauge incorporated in the tool blade helps to monitor the adjustments made. Simply hold the gauge in place with the fingertips and rotate the screw driver into the desired direction to richen or lean out the carb setting – the red anodised indicator will clearly display the changes made. Part of the tool handle is also a rubber plug that helps to securely stop the engine by pressing the wrench against the flywheel. As usual the tool is constructed from high quality 7075-T6 aluminium while the blade is made from high quality spring steel. Laser-etched logos round out that signature Revolution Design look.

RDRP Ultra Turnbuckle Wrenches

New from Revolution Design Racing Products come the Ultra Turnbuckle Wrenches for the toe and camber links of many 1/12th to 1/8th scale cars, buggies and trucks. They are constructed from RDRP’s renown black anodised aluminium and high-quality spring steel and they allow for swift and effortless suspension geometry adjustment thanks to their clever design. The compact yet sturdy tool tip makes turnbuckle adjustment even in tight surrounding a breeze while the specially shaped handle gives perfect tool control. Laser-etched markings and colour coded aluminium rings not only look cool but they also help with easy identification of the wrenches that are available as 3mm, 4mm and 5mm variant.

RDRP Ultra Torque Wrench hex head tools

Revolution Design Racing Products introduce the new Ultra Torque Wrench series. Constructed from Revolution Design Racing Product’s renown black anodised aluminium and high-quality spring steel to make them ultra sturdy and ultra durable the wrenches are available with 2.0mm, 2.5mm and 3.0mm tips. The compact design with a short blade and the butterfly handle allow to apply more torque on a screw during wrenching – ideal for those rotted engine screws or when screwing fasteners into fibre reinforced parts.

RDRP Ultra Step Ride Height/Droop Gauge

Revolution Design Racing Products introduce the Ultra Step Ride Height/Droop Gauge that is designed to precisely measure the ground clearance of 1/10th and 1/12th scale on-road vehicles as well as the suspension droop of touring car kits. The ground clearance part of the gauge offers an adjustment range of 2mm up to 8mm in 1mm increments while the droop setting can be measured in 0.5mm increments for improved accuracy compared to standard droop gauges. Like the other RDRP Ultra series tools the gauge is constructed from high-quality CNC-machined 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium for durability while white, laser-etched markings help with visibility during setup.
