Schelle Racing Innovations SCX10 Onyx bearing set

Coming from Schelle Racing Innovations and made for Axial’s SCX10 series of off-road vehicles is the Onyx bearing set. Precision manufactured to ABEC-3 standards the ball races are lubed with premium Japanese Kyodo Yushi grease for a lower starting torque and thus greatly reduced drag compared to other greased bearings. They also are of a dual seal design with an outer rubber seal to protect against dirt contamination while the inner metal shield lowers operating friction. The ball races are ideal replacements for kit or RTR bearings with the Axial SCX10 set including 22 ball bearings.

Schelle introduce new B6 & B64 option parts

Schelle Racing Innovations have introduced new optional parts for the Team Associated B6 and B64 series of off-road vehicles. First up is a revised front shock tower for flat arm equipped B6 buggies. Made from tough 5mm carbon fibre and offering an updated design, the shock tower has the outer shock mounting holes removed and thanks to shortened ears it is less prone to break, adding toughness to AE’s latest 2WD buggy.

Schelle B6 67mm aluminium light CVA driveshafts

Available now are Schelle Racing Innovations’ new 67mm aluminium light CVA driveshafts for the Team Associated B6 series of vehicles. They make for a “long dogbone” setup that moves through the range of suspension travel with less angle misalignment. This translates to less bind on power and more rear grip as the suspension works under load instead of locking out due to the drivetrain. The set includes new custom machined drive pins that will not shift in the softer aluminium material.

Schelle B6 67mm conversion HD axles

Schelle Racing Innovations have introduced 67mm conversion wheel axles for Team Associated B6 racers that want to run latest “long bone” setups. The 67mm conversion axles work with aluminium rear hub units by Schelle (B5M and B6) and Team Associated (B5M) and the axles replace the kit units while keeping the same overall track width. The long 67mm bones can move through the range of suspension travel with less angle mis-alignment. This translates to less bind on power and more rear grip as the suspension works under load instead of locking out due to the drivetrain. The axles are sold separately or in a conversion set with CVA bones included.

Schelle B64-series aluminium rear hubs

Coming soon from Schelle Racing Innovations are aluminium rear hubs for the Team Associated B64 1/10th scale buggies. The 2-piece design with replaceable caps increases adjustment and durability as the hubs fit the kit axle height inserts for 0, +1, +2, and +3 adjustability. The standard location “inside, +1mm shim” matches the kit standard upper row middle “B” hole. The upper cap design can space away from the main hub with ballstud shims, allowing racers fine in-between adjustments for the rear upper link. True to the kit geometry, the Schelle aluminium hubs are 0 degree toe-in when using the Associated inserts. The SCH1095 aluminium upper caps carry over from the B6 design, and are shared the same part left and right. The upper cap design reduces leverage on the outer ballstud, and is much easier to use when needing to remove a broken ballstud. Lastly, these hubs are zero slop, with plastic bearing inserts and 2 set screws for the hinge pin. The hubs will become available from end of May in blue or black colour.

Schelle V2 12mm Team Associated piston tuning set

Schelle Racing Innovations have two new piston pairs as well as a full 8-pairs set to release for use on the Team Associated B6 and B64 buggies. First is the 2-hole split 1.6 and 1.7, commonly used in the front of 2WD to gain more steering indoors. Also for the 2WD or 4WD rear, the 3×1.5 bevel piston is a perfect complement to 3×1.4 front pistons in bumpier conditions. These two new pistons plus Schelle’s other six go-to sizes are included in the new Schelle tuning set of eight pairs of screw-on type V2 pistons that fit the B6, B6D, B64 and B64D. The new pistons are also available separately and the set also fits screw-on V2 shock shafts which are upgrades for B5, B5M, B5M Factory Lite, T5M, and SC5M. Schelle B6 2mm carbon fibre gearbox shims

Schelle Racing Innovations’ 2mm carbon fibre gearbox shim set helps to raise the gearbox of the Team Associated B6 when racing on high-grip carpet or astro turf. Doing so will reduce driveshaft angles, making them more level, which results in an easier to drive car on high-grip surfaces. The set includes four 2mm shims that raise the laydown gearbox and Schelle recommend to use their laydown motor plate to lower the motor back down to the chassis while also using long shock ends for 2mm of added shock droop.

Schelle B64 carbon fibre rear gearbox shims

Schelle Racing Innovations have introduced a carbon fibre gearbox shim set for the Team Associated B64 buggy. Made from 1mm sheet material the shims are used separately or even stacked to raise the rear gearbox and suspension mounts as a tuning option for certain track conditions. Raising the assembly can lead to a more responsive rear end and more entry and mid-corner steering. Strategic cut-outs prevent backwards differential installation and the shims only work on the rear suspension.
