Schumacher introduce the new Minispike tyre for 1/5th large scale vehicles. Offering an inner diameter of 130mm the tyre is designed for the latest larger diameter wheels and it is available in Schumacher’s most popular yellow compound suitable for grass and astro surfaces. The tyre is supplied in pairs without inserts.

Schumacher has new optional parts for the Mi5evo touring car available such as a twin point dual bellcrank steering, new diff O-rings and slider inserts. Starting with the steering, the twin point design with two bellcranks replaces the kit’s rail-type assembly and it provides a smoother and more consistent steering feel. Included comes the floating servo mount with the updated steering assembly, new carbon fibre outer steering knuckle levers and different size lock stop triangles to precisely adjust the overall steering throw.

Schumacher introduce two new 1/10th off-road tyres, adding to their expanding range of tyres for multiple track conditions. Firstly the new 4WD wide front Stagger, this tyre has been developed for high grip astro and carpet surfaces and aimed at providing more grip whilst keeping stability associated with the staggered rib tyre. The 2.2 inch diameter tyre is suitable for 4WD and 2WD medium wheels and it is available in the Schumacher yellow compound for dry conditions and also inthe softer Silver rubber for damp and wet conditions. If you wish to skip that gnarly gluing job the yellow compound tyre is also available pre-mouted on the 4WD Flexlite 12mm hex wheel.

The new Schumacher Cougar KF2 is a professional, high performance 1/10th scale 2WD racing buggy, based upon the multiple national championship winning Cougar KF. The KF2 includes an adjustable motor position for optimum weight distribution on high or low grip tracks. Among the KF2’s many other refinements is an all new black alloy chassis, new bodyshell, alloy chassis stiffeners, new lightweight side gears and new quad pad vented slipper unit. These and other features make the KF2 more reliable, easier to work on and above all, faster. The buggy is also equipped with industry standard 12mm hex front and rear wheels, big bore shock absorbers to soak up the bumps and it becomes availably by end of January.

Alphaform Reds JQRacing have announced that Schumacher will be their team’s official electric offroad partner for 2015. JQ himself is running the 4wd Schumacher Cat K1 Aero at this week’s Reedy race and along with his team drivers Bradley Baird and Rayan Medjoubi will race the full line of Schumacher offroad vehicles at their respective National Championships as well as the Euros in the UK this Summer.

Schumacher have announced that top Austrian racer Peter Pinisch will be racing the company’s 1/10th line of off-road buggies in 2015 and 2016. Peter is a former EFRA 4WD European Champion, and 3-time IFMAR Worlds A-finalist. He is also a regular EOS A-finalist and has achieved an amazing 20 EFRA Euros A-finals. He is a very fast and experienced racer and will be a big asset to Schumacher’s growing European off road team. Peter had this to say:

After some many years of racing it is time for a change and I`m really happy to announce that Team Schumacher give me the opportunity to run their products for the next years. Schumacher announce that long term Schumacher driver and 2014 BRCA Modified Vice-Champion Colin Price has re-signed to the team. The quiet man of the Touring Car scene, but a true competitor who never gives an inch, Colin had his best year in 2014 taking second in the BRCA Nationals, just 1 point off the Champion Olly Jefferies and ahead of Chris Grainger and Elliott Harper and Andy Moore. Along with Colin comes his super fast brother Lee who last year also finished second in the BRCA Pro Stock Championship. Colin had this to say:

Chris Grainger has announced that he will be departing Schumacher Racing at the end of 2014. Chris has been at Schumacher for 6 seasons, and during that time has seen great successes, including lifting three UK National titles, and securing a World Championship A final place in 2012. Chris said:
To all my RC friends. I just wanted to let everyone know that as from December 31st I will no longer be driving for Schumacher racing. I want to just say thank you so much to everyone in the factory who have made the last 6 years the best and most enjoyable 6 years of all my years racing. Thank you all very much.
