SkyRC GD-401A Drift Car Gyro

SkyRC has announced the release of its new GD-401A drift car gyro, designed specifically for rear-wheel-drive (RWD) platforms but fully compatible with touring, rally, and short course vehicles. At its core, the GD-401A features a 32-bit processor working seamlessly with a high-precision gyro sensor to deliver ultra-fast correction and smooth, natural control. The unit offers nine pre-tuned sensitivity curves accessible via a single button, allowing drivers to quickly adapt to different surfaces and driving styles. A standout feature is the intuitive EPA (End Point Adjustment) function, enabling precise servo travel tuning within its 180° range to prevent oversteer or wheel interference. The one-touch reverse setup makes installation frustration-free when control logic flips due to chassis orientation. Housed in a CNC-machined aluminium case for optimal rigidity and heat dissipation, GD-401A combines performance and refinement in an ultra-compact footprint that virtually disappears into the chassis.

SkyRC ITV500 Compact Handheld Thermal Imager

SkyRC has added this compact handheld thermal imager to its product line-up, the ITV500 designed to help RC drivers identify heat-related issues before failure occurs. Using FIR thermal imaging technology, the ITV500 visualises temperature differences across motors, ESCs, batteries, and connectors in real time, allowing drivers to see the temperature instantly and detect hidden hotspots. With contact-free temperature measurement and a touch-based interface, it provides a practical tool for identifying abnormal heat buildup during setup, testing, and trackside maintenance. Rechargeable via USB-C and upgrade firmware effortlessly with UF2 drag-and-drop, the ITV500 weighs just 38 grams and features a bright 1.83″ touch display.

SkyRC Type35N Charger

Battery charger manufacturer SkyRC kicks off the New Year with the addition of the Type35N, a NiMH/NiCd variant of its compact Type35 charger, designed for DC-powered field use. Supporting 6–8 cell packs, the Type35N offers three selectable charge currents (1A / 2A / 3A), allowing users to choose gentle charging for maintenance or faster charging when time is limited. Operation is kept deliberately simple with a single-button interface and clear LED status indicators — just plug in and charge. An intelligent thermal control system ensures stable and safe operation even at higher currents. Output connector options include Tamiya or T-plug, depending on the SKU.
