SkyRC’s T100 is a twin-channel charger with two independent circuits that can charge batteries of varying chemistries simultaneously. Its sleek design allows easy front-loading plug-in convenience of the balancing and XT60 ports but it is not only compact in size but also powerful in output with a maximum of 100W of charging power and 5A charging current. With the new AGM and cold charge modes, the user is free to charge their PB and AGM batteries on cold days also. Other features include a blue back-lit display, and four-button menu operation.
UK SkyRC distributor Schumacher has introduced the SkyRC T200 AC/DC 12A dual output charger. Housed in a compact tower-design case the device offers dual 100W circuit power for up to 12A of charge current per channel as well as a swift 500mA/cell balance current. the charger is usable with up to 6S LiPo packs, it sports a built-in power supply and the case features a handle for easy transport.
Coming soon from SkyRC is their new Toro TS150 Pro brushless speed controller for 1/8th scale vehicles. Designed for buggies, trucks and monster trucks but also usable for 1/8th on-road kits, the 150A-rated controller offers an aluminium heatsink case, a 6V high-power BEC system with up to 8A, as well as a multitude of software features that include adjustable timing as well as throttle and brake curve adjustment to name just a few. The controller is adjustable using SkyRC’s Progbox or WiFi module and it comes including a heavy duty fan unit that is meant to be a lot more durable compared to standard fans – even when running in demanding track conditions and on track with large jumps.
Coming from SkyRC is their new Toro Beast V2 brushless speed controller for 1/5th scale applications. The 4S to 8S LiPo-compatible ESC offers a 6V/7.4V BEC system with up to 15A of output current and it is highly programmable using an optional programming box or PC interface. Other features include data logging of parameters such as voltage, amp draw, motor RPM and controller temperature. The controller is rated at 200A constant and 800A peak current, making it usable with motors of up to 1100kV.
SkyRC have introduced their new Toro X8 Pro V2 motor for 1/8th electric applications. The updated version of the X8 Pro the V2 variant adds an adjustable timing feature for easier fine-tuning for various track conditions. Other features include a 5mm shaft, 12-slot stator and 4-pole rotor. The motor can be used with sensored or sensorless controllers and it is available in 2150kV and 2350kV variants.
SkyRC have introduced their new eFuel 380 watt power supply that offers 24V output and up to 16A of current. The device measures a compact 165x139x59.5mm and weighs in at 1.6kg while offering a wide range of safety features such as output short circuit, over current, over temperature, overload and over voltage protection. It its 24V and 16A output the power supply is able to feed even power hungry chargers and thanks to its built-in XT60 output connector it is a direct fit for the recently introduced B6 Nano charger.
Coming soon from SkyRC is the B6 Nano 320W DC micro multi-chemistry charger. It measures a compact 76x85x37mm and weighs in at only 130g but packs a bunch of features such as a 50×37.5mm black screen display, touch buttons, up to 15A charging current, and 6S LiPo-compatibility. A LiHV mode allows to use the device with the latest generation of high-voltage LiPo batteries and thanks to Bluetooth connectivity the charger can controlled, monitored and upgraded using iOS or Android mobile device apps.
SkyRC have introduced their new D100 V2 AC/DC multi-chemistry charger. The device offers dual output channels, a USB output, and a 13.8V 100 watts power supply, making it usable with up to 6S LiXX batteries or up to 15-cell NiXX packs. With its internal power supply the charger is able to power additional DC devices while Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity allows to remote control and monitor the charger using iOS or Android mobile devices. Another new feature to the D100 V2 is the Scan to Go function. With a QR code generated by SkyRC’s SkyCharger app and attached to the respective battery the charger will start charging or discharging automatically once the QR code is scanned with a mobile device. The function will prevent the use of wrong charge modes or parameters. The features are rounded out by a back-lit display and temperature-controlled fan units.
