More new stuff for the Associated B44 from Diggity Designs, following last weeks release of the LiPo mount for the car. The same company have now announced the release of this super strong and lightweight 4mm thick carbon fibre front shock tower. Looking a bit beefier than the stock version, this option part also features a 3rd upper shock absorber mounting hole for more tuning possibilities.

Diggity Designs have added another buggy to their range of LiPo mounts, following the previous release of the option for the Academy SBV2. This new set is suitable for the Associated B44 4wd buggy and enables the car to be fitted with a range of modern hard cased LiPo saddle packs like those made from Trakpower and Maxamps. Made from carbon fibre, the set includes 2 braces and 4 standoffs and is super easy to install.

Team Associated have released a number of Factory team parts for the drive train of their RC8 1/8th scale buggy. RC8 Stub Axles and Input Cups, they are strong and lightweight, and have been made in the USA out of high-quality 7075-T6 aluminum. Reduce rotating weight by 55 grams when using the complete set of all three products Reducing rotating weight equals more punch, stronger brakes and more run time. Also released were a set of lightweight differential outdrives and shiny CV bones.

Team Associated have release some new items for their RC8 1/8th scale buggy, starting with these great new wheels. Excellent value for 1/8 scale enthusiasts, these lightweight, super-strong anti-wobble wheels stay true and resist bending under the toughest conditions. Each wheel is only 34 grams which means less rotating weight ensuring maximum punch, while a 4.2mm deep-set hex helps prevent the wheel from stripping and ruining your tires. Tough internal webbing with a central strengthening rib also helps prevents the wheel from warping or distorting and a half-depth vent hole allowing a choice of venting options. Sold in a pack of 4, they are available in white or yellow and work on other cars with the same size hex. Also new for the RC8, are internal snap rings, a perfect upgrade to bulletproof your cars shocks. Simply replace the stock G-ring shock retainers for an extra level of security and longevity for your RC8’s shocks.

More new parts for the Associated RC8 from Reckward Tuning with the release of these 2 new lower wishbone suspension brackets. Made by Vita Tuning, the new pieces have been machined from aluminium and feature plastic inserts to allow you to adjust the angle of the included spring steel pivot pin and in turn the geometry of your suspension. As well as being able to adjust the roll centre settings, on the rear the user can also adjust the toe settings in 0.25 degree increments to achieve 2, 2.25, 2.5, 2.75 & 3 degrees.

Last week during our Toy Fair coverage we brought you more information, including close up shots, of the new 12R5 1/12th scale from Team Associated. The US based company have today released complete information on the new car along with a features list and photos. The 12R5 Factory Team is the latest evolutionary step in Associated’s over twenty-five years of 1:12 scale racing history. The designers in Area 51 built the 12R5 on a 2.5mm woven carbon fiber chassis that utilizes a pivot-ball link rear suspension that allows for independent adjustments for chassis roll, bump and alignment. Having the ability to make these chassis adjustments independently gives the 12R5 greater potential to get the best possible handling from the car and the track surface.
