Pro-Line Axis 2WD lightweight body shells

Pro-Line have introduced their all-new Axis 2WD lightweight buggy body shell for the Team Associated B6.1, the TLR 22 5.0 and the Yokomo YZ-2. Designed with the latest in CAD technology, the Axis features a super low-slung design with sharp lines throughout giving it an unmistakable look on the track. The body features a cab-forward design which provides enhanced steering response while the small side fins balances out the rear of the car with ideal side-bite. The rear of the Axis body has the right amount of clearance for the gearbox and fits the chassis and bulkhead shape of the race buggies perfectly. The bodies are made in the USA from light weight polycarbonate material and included with each body are two Air Force II 6.5” rear wings, paint-then-peel overspray film, window masks and Pro-Line decals.

Aigoin Racing 1/8th buggy carbon fibre side guards

Aigoin Racing from France have introduced their new carbon fibre side guards for many of today’s 1/8th competition buggies. Moulded from high-quality carbon fibre the side guards are a direct replacement for the standard plastic or composite parts, offering greater rigidity, a low weight and overall improved looks. The side guards are available for the Xray XB8, Team Associated RC8 B3 and B3.1, Mugen MBX8 and MBX7, HB Racing D81x, TLR 8ight-X, and SWorkz S35-3 and S35e kits from now on and they include the required mounting hardware.

Losi Mini-T 2.0 aluminium optionals

Coming soon for the recently announced Losi Mini-T 2.0 is a range of aluminium option parts to increase the performance, durability and appearance of Losi’s latest mini-size ride. The range includes a front pivot block, a bellcrank and drag link set, 0 degree caster blocks, a rear hub set, a rear pivot block set, a front brace set, servo mounts, front camber blocks, rear hex-style adapters, threaded body front and rear shock absorbers as well as front and rear spring sets. Also available, from Horizon Hobby’s Dynamite brand, is a 6000kV motor and ESC 2-in-1 combo that sees the speed controller integrated into the motor case. All parts will become available in time of the Mini-T 2.0 release.

RPM Tenacity SCT/DB/T chassis skid plates

Coming from RPM is a new skid plate set for the Losi Tenacity SCT, DB and T vehicles that helps to bulletproof the popular trucks. The front and rear skid plates are designed to fit both the moulded chassis version of the Tenacity as well as the aluminium chassis option. A key breakage area of the moulded Tenacity chassis is the area located just behind the front bulkhead mounting screws. By tying together the four bulkhead mounting screws with the two screws holding the steering mounting posts in place, the plate beefs up the strength and durability of the entire front end of the chassis, helping to reduce that pesky breakage problem while adding some much needed abrasion resistance to the chassis. As for the aluminium chassis, the skid plates will not only increase the longevity of the valuable alloy main plate, they will also significantly reduce the amount of scuffs and scratches it will receive since the skid plates are the lowest impact point on the chassis. Out back, the rear skid plate adds some much needed abrasion and wear protection for both the moulded composite and aluminium chassis. Drivers will also encounter less build-up of dirt and debris between the chassis and the lower rear bumper mount since the rear skid plate sits lower than the bumper mount. Both the front and rear skid plate are moulded from high-quality nylon material for durability and they come including mounting hardware.

Losi 1/18 Mini-T 2.0 2WD RTR Stadium Truck

Losi have introduced their new 1/18th scale Mini-T 2.0 2WD ready-to-run stadium truck. Reinvented with modern technology and Team Losi Racing engineering, the Losi Mini-T 2.0 truck honours the heritage of the original Mini-T with features and options never dreamed of back in the day. With suspension geometry updated and taken from the TLR 22 platform and the inclusion of waterproof electronics with a 2.4Ghz radio system, everything takes a step above the original truck. RC enthusiasts looking for something small, but with the performance of a 1/10 scale vehicle will find plenty to love in the Mini-T 2.0. It features a mid-motor configuration for better balance, oil filled shocks, aluminium chassis, and a full range of option parts all in a total ready-to-run package. The truck will become available in three different body colour options.

RPM Super Rock Rey front spindle set

Coming from RPM and made for the Losi Super Rock Rey truck is a reinforced front spindle set. The parts have reinforced steering arm ribs that triangulate further than stock, strengthening the steering arm to unbreakable levels. RPM also increased the amount of support material surrounding the axle bearings to improve overall strength and crash survivability. To further the aesthetic appeal, RPM redesigned the brake calliper mounts for a cleaner, more finished look and made them lighter. In addition the stock, heavyweight 4mm king pin retaining screws were replaced with lightweight 3mm versions. This simple screw size change reduces the overall unsprung weight of the spindles by four grams without compromising strength. The spindles utilise the stock suspension geometry and are moulded from engineering grade nylons for durability.

TLR 8ight-X -3mm main chassis plate

Team Losi Racing have announced the release of a new -3mm aluminium main chassis for the 8ight-X 1/8th scale buggy. 3mm shorter than the kit chassis the new main plate will improve overall grip and stability which comes in handy in a variety of track conditions. Machined from high-quality aluminium the chassis sports a hard-anodised surface for wear and laser-etched markings for looks.

Losi 1/5 DBXL-E 2.0 4WD Brushless Desert Buggy RTR

Coming from Horizon Hobby is the new Losi 1/5 DBXL-E 2.0 4WD Brushless Desert Buggy RTR with Smart technology. The original DBXL-E was a very popular vehicle for large scale bashers and enthusiasts alike. Its agile handling, out of the box speeds and durability make it a fan favourite. Now the DBXL-E 2.0 continues to build on the legendary status. Sharing many design ideas with the popular Losi 5ive-T 2.0 large scale buggy, Losi has built the DBXL-E 2.0 to be cleaner and easier to use, but with performance and speed to tackle any challenge. At home in any environment from dirt to pavement, wet or dry, especially with its 4WD drivetrain with larger 5mm drive pins, the desert buggy makes sure all the power is put to the ground.
