Exotek have introduced a 74T 48 pitch spur gear for the Xray XB4 1/10th scale buggy. Aimed at 13.5T stock racing, the main gear allows to gear higher thanks to the smaller tooth count, and to run bigger pinions without cutting and modifying the stock motor plate. The heavy duty machined delrin gear includes M2.5 hardware so that it reverse mounts to the spur while allowing the spur teeth to clear the hardware.
Xray have introduced the 2018 variant of their successful X12 1/12th scale pan car with next year’s edition being available as EU- and US-specific variant. Both follow the same design language although they differ in details such as chassis materials and front suspension, making the EU version suitable for very low to high traction conditions while the US version is meant to excel on medium to very high traction tracks as they are popular in the U.S.A..
Xray have announced the addition of Singapore’s Dominic Quek to their factory team. A former Xray privateer, Dominic will now receive full works support in his campaign that will see attendances at events such as the Asian Onroad Championships, the TITC as well as national events such as the Urban Touring Series, the Singapore Nationals and the TIPS Championship. Dominic will campaign Xray’s T4 and X1 platforms and he had the following to say:

Over the years, I have continued to choose to race the Xray platform for its on-track performance and unrivalled quality. Xray have revamped their popular X10 1/10th 200mm pan car kit with the 2018 variant sporting a range of updates and improvements. The ’18 specification kit utilises many of the design features previously known from the X12 series of cars with the vehicle using an all-new carbon fibre chassis with increased torsional stiffness and optional mounting positions for the side links. The 2.5mm “shorty battery only” chassis cut from “carpet-spec” carbon fibre allows for straight and angled link positions with the latter improving in-corner steering.
Coming from Yeah Racing are 3mm front and rear belts for the Xray T4. The range included a 513T front and a 189T rear belt, both are suitable for the Xray T4 range of cars while the rear variant is also usable with Yokomo’s BD8 kit. Both 3mm wide belts are cut from high-quality, low-drag material for a long-lasting and free-spinning drive train.
Xray have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming X10’18 200mm pan car kit. No details are available yet but we expecting them to surface right in time for the release.

3DRC have expanded their popular range of Fan Booster motor cooling fan mounts by three all-new variants for the Xray X1 and Team Associated F6 formula pan cars. Purpose designed and 3-D-printed from very tough material the fan mounts are available in two standard variants, for 30mm or 40mm units, and also as 30mm variant with incorporated diffusor for improved looks and aerodynamics. The fan mounts attach between the motor bulkheads and rear carbon fibre wing mount plate, they are usable for Formula and also LMP-converted cars and they are available through 3DRC’s Shapeways store or select model shops.
T-Works have introduced a couple of new brass and aluminium option parts for the Xray T4’17 touring car. Available soon are a brass battery stop for the right hand layshaft mount, a brass motor mount plate, 2.5g brass steering posts as well as 2.5g brass bumper posts. All parts are machined from high-quality brass material, they come with a black surface coating and gold-colour edge details for wear and looks. For those who look for a more securely located battery without adding substantial weight, T-Works also offers the battery stop in a lightweight aluminium variant.
