Xray XB8 carbon fibre rear chassis brace inserts

Xray XB8 rear carbon fibre chassis brace inserts

Xray have introduced a carbon fibre insert set for the rear composite chassis braces of the latest XB8 and XB8E buggies. Specially shaped the inserts drop right into position in the composite rear chassis brace and they make for an overall stiffer rear part of the chassis, making the option parts ideal for high traction surfaces. Included in the set come two carbon fibre braces and suitable mounting hardware.

Xray RX8 graphite suspension arms

Xray RX8 graphite suspension arms

Xray have introduced new graphite suspension arms for the RX8 1/8th on-road car. Moulded in a special graphite composite material the arms are significantly harder than the standard parts, making them ideal for high to very high grip tracks and also high ambient temperatures. Due to being less flexible the suspension parts make for a more precise handling and improved traction. Available are front and rear upper and lower arms with all parts being symmetrical, allowing to use them on both sides of the car.

Techra introduce new on-road & off-road option parts

Coming from Techra are several aluminium and carbon fibre option parts for a range of kits. First up are aluminium body height adjusters for Yokomo, Xray and VBC touring cars. Machined from 7075 aluminium and coming black anodised and with machined silver details, their design allows to use the parts with Yokomo-style 2mm and Xray/VBC-style 2.5mm body post pins. Xray XB8 carbon fibre shock towers

Xray XB8 carbon fibre shock towers

Xray have introduced carbon fibre shock towers for the XB8 1/8th off-road buggy. The front shock stay is cut from 4mm material while the rear variant is made using slightly thinner 3.5mm material, adding to the already existing 4mm variant. All offer an extra-strong heavy duty design, they allow the use of multiple inner ballstud positions in the rear and the standard composite inserts in the front and the 3.5mm rear tower is especially recommended for lower traction surfaces due to being softer in flex than the standard shock stay.

The quality and attention to details in the products are top notch and the performance and reliability of the products are superior. With the recent release of the new 2WD platform we believe the Xray overall package currently is the strongest in the 1/10 off road racing market on all surfaces. Xray XB8E 2016 1/8th electric off-road buggy kit

Xray XB8E 2016 1/8th electric off-road buggy kit

Xray have announced the 2016 variant of their XB8E 1/8th E-buggy kit. Building on the successful XB8 platform the 2016 kit makes use of many of the improvements and refinements introduced with this year’s XB8 nitro buggy, such as an updated suspension package, a new chassis and some redesigned drivetrain parts. Starting with the chassis, the 7075-T6 aluminium part makes for an optimised weight balance thanks to being 4mm shorter to move the weight forward. A more narrow front end is meant to improve steering while the rear and is wider for increased stability. Excessive machining keeps the weight of the 3mm plate at a minimum. Part of the new chassis package are also updated side guards that are mounted from above as well as newly designed chassis braces with the rear one allowing to mount an optional graphite brace to stiffen the rear end.
