Xray Column – Nationals all around

The 43rd installment in the Xray column from Xray owner and chief designer Juraj Hudy is now online. In this months column he talks about a break in his busy racing schedule and focuses on the National success of the team all around the world.

The most important part of the season within the last two years is coming and we do not want to keep anything for the last minute and be ready and prepared as much as possible. But still I know there will be last minute changes and quick decisions which will be required based on the feedback and results from the warm-ups, so I want to have majority of the regular work and basic projects ready ready now, to save the capacity for the absolute peak in the summer.

New from Xray for their 808 chassis is this optional molded composite cover that protects the air filter and is recommended for muddy and rainy conditions. The cover is a direct fit for the 808 low-profile air filter assembly.

Xray T3R electric touring car

Xray have introduced the all-new T3R, the latest release from their design studios. The T3R represents the latest evolution of the successful Raycer concept, luxury at an affordable price. Based on their top end T3 platform, it utilizes a LiPo & NiMh multi purpose-designed platform, with the unique ray alternative drive-line configuration for perfect weight balance with either type of battery and electronics layout.

Spec-R T3 Suspension arms

New from Spec-R are these suspension arms for the Xray T3 touring car. These new arms are shorter than the original versions by 1mm, which helps ensure better traction and handling. Made from a long lasting hard nylon, they are available for the front and rear of the car along with steering knuckles and rear uprights, which while similar in design to the originals, are made of the same material as the wishbones.

Xray H1 & H2 quick roll-center holders

Xray have released yet another way to fine-tune your T3 or T2 based car with these new 4.9mm quick roll center holders. This matched pair of CNC-machined high-grade aluminium holders, marked H1 and H2, are 1mm higher with the same length than L1 & L2 holders, allowing the car to roll more. May be used at either front or rear. Using these in the front makes the car turn easier. Recommended for high-carpet traction tracks because it decreases in corner steering and helps to prevent traction rolling. Using the H roll-center holders in the rear increases corner steering and speed.
