Kyosho Spada 09 up close

Kyosho Spada 09

Kyosho have shown their new 1/12th scale 4wd pan car today at the Shizuoka Hobby show in Japan under its new name, the Spada 09. The car up close looks well made, featuring a carbon fiber chassis which wasnt present on the first picture released last week, as well as sporting a new low profile steering servo and different receiver placement. Also shown were the body shells that it would use and these too look pretty good.

Tamiya show the TA05MS and TA05IFS

Tamiya TAO5MS

In the middle of April we showed you CAD images of the new Tamiya TA05MS and TA05IFS chassis’ and today Tamiya showed the real cars for the first time at the Shizuoka Hobby show in Japan today. We wrote about them before saying the TA05MS is essentially a competition based TA05 with carbon chassis, racing shocks and other optionals as standard while the new TA05IFS is an all new chassis with inboard suspension to fit the Super GT300 class bodyshell. Also shown at the show was a conversion set for the TRF415 MSXX to allow the mounting of stick packs.

UPDATE: Added 2 more pics showing the MSXX stick pack conversion.

Ok with almost everything at this years fair photographed from several different angles by many intrepid reporters on the ground and all the first day buzz is gone, its time to settle down and take stock. Nuernberg Toy fair – Engine round up

Picco IDM

With so many products being shown at the fair we have decided to do a few rounds up of certain types of products, this first one being for engines. We have already seen the Mario Rossi tuned GRP motors and the new Team Orion CRF range or motors so whats left, well quite a lot actually. The engine above is the Danielle Ielasi edition motor from Picco and we would expect that it features the same work as every other ‘edition’ engine on the market but in a Picco motor and its available in circuit and buggy versions.

UPDATE: Added 3 more engines to the list.
