Maclan Racing MRR Team Edition brushless motors

Maclan Racing MRR Team Edition brushless motors

Maclan Racing have introduced the MRR Team Edition electric brushless motors. Based on the popular MRR platform the Team Edition utilises Japanese made steel stator material for the short stack style rotors. Custom-made copper wire also has a higher temperature threshold along with maximum diameter allowed by ROAR regulations. Overall the Team Edition has an average four percent lower internal resistance compared to the standard MRR series motors. Also part of the TE package are all-new hall sensors that are more accurate while offering a much higher speed polling rate which will provide quicker throttle response with higher top speeds. The hand-built motors will become available by late November.

Arrowmax 5200mAh Low Profile Graphene Pro LiPo

Arrowmax 5200mAh Low Profile Graphene Pro LiPo

Arrowmax continue to expand their line-up of LiPo Batteries and have just released their first graphene chemistry based LiPo battery, the low profile 5200mAh 65C 7.4V stick pack. Graphene has many extraordinary properties, it is about 100 times stronger than the strongest steel and nearly transparent, but what makes it really stands out on the LiPo front are the exceptional capability and efficiency in conducing heat and electricity. The benefit of this new chemistry means these LiPos have very low internal resistance which everyone is looking for while at the same time run a lot cooler under load, this in-turn gives you a feeling of higher power and capacity during high discharge-rate conditions, the perfect solution for professional and demanding racers.  Graphene LiPo batteries works on normal LiPo battery chargers with no additional adjustment is needed.

Reedy Zappers Hi-Voltage Modified Shorty LiPo

Reedy Zappers Hi-Voltage Modified Shorty LiPo

Reedy’s new high voltage Shorty Zappers are here. Perfect for use in modified classes, a 7.6 nominal voltage means that with a suitable charger, the battery can be safely charged to 8.7V (4.35V/cell) and its no secret that more voltage equals more power, so there is no easier way to achieve a performance advantage than a higher charge voltage. A 70C rating reduces initial punch for modified class racers while still producing a flatter discharge curve to close the power gap between the beginning and end of a race. Available in 5400mAh and 5800mAh versions, a high quality, durable hard case helps prevent damage while heavy-duty 5mm socket connectors keeps power-robbing resistance to a minimum. A charge lead and 5mm ESC connectors are included.
