Serpent SRX4 optional parts

Serpent SRX4 optional parts

Serpent have new option parts for the SRX4 1/10th scale 4WD buggy available. The range includes a new front anti-roll bar mount, front outer titanium-nitride coated suspension pins, 40 shore shock O-ring seals, an assortment of high and low spring cups as well as a 24 tooth slipper shaft pulley and black anodised aluminium wing washers. On top of that Serpent now offers an exchange program for the front lower A-arms. The first batch did not meet the company’s quality standards with the parts suffering from captured air bubbles that had a negative influence on the durability. The updated v2 arms offer improved durability and also a beefed up design to further enhance crash resistance. The new arms are available through Serpent’s distributor and dealer network.

Schumacher peripheral touring car dampers

Schumacher peripheral touring car dampers

The Schumacher peripheral damping system has been developed for touring cars to help minimise tyre contact patch load fluctuations, caused by small bumps in the track surface. This means the tyre remains in contact with the ground more often, resulting in more grip and improved lap times. The damping characteristic is dependent upon the position of the piston within the shock body. The damping is softest when the piston is at the bottom of the shock, at which point the peripheral volume is at its greatest. Conversely the damping is hardest when the shock is at the top of the body, and the sleeve has the smallest opening. As a consequence of this, the damping characteristic progressively increases with bump/roll, compared to the kit damper assembly which offers linear damping throughout the damping stroke. The dampers are supplied in pairs to fit the Schumacher Mi5evo, but will also fit other touring cars on the market. Spare parts are available separately to update current Mi5evo shocks.

Tuning Haus precision thread-on setup wheels

Tuning Haus precision thread-on setup wheels

Coming from Tuning Haus and designed on cooperation with Randy Caster are thread-on setup wheels for 1/10th touring cars. Coming in a set of four wheels they help to get critical adjustments like camber and toe-in just right as they keep variances like wheel, insert and tyre diameter out of the equation. Different from other setup wheels the Tuning Haus parts further simplify the process by threading directly onto the axle; eliminating the need for a separate wheel nut. They are perfect for the use with 1/10 touring cars, Formula chassis, drift cars, and others with 4mm threaded axles. Manufactured from billet aluminium and anodised black, they feature durable rubber O-rings and come packed in a convenient storage case.
