Mugen Seiki MBX8R Nitro buggy

Mugen Seiki have released the MBX8R buggy, the result of extensive testing and development by some of the best drivers in the world. The team spent a lot of time testing and developing the MBX8R geometry in race conditions throughout 2021, which lead to many major victories, with Ryan Maifield winning The Dirt Nitro Challenge, Silver State Nitro Challenge and ROAR 1/8th Fuel Nationals all in the same year. The MBX8R has many new parts to increase stability, rear traction, improved jumping, and have a wide tuning range. The buggy uses new narrow RF (C) and RR (D) pivot blocks with new pivot inserts for increased tune-ability. Further updates include longer box-shaped suspension arms and arm stiffeners, with the rear arm using an impact resistant material for increased durability. Adjusting the hardness of the lower suspension arms is possible with optional CFRP plates. The rear uprights are also new, the moulded uprights have CFRP plates to adjust rear roll centre. New front shock tower and upper front arm mount use new pivot inserts for increased tune-ability.

Xray XB4’22 1/10th electric 4wd buggy

Xray have presented their new for 2022 XB4 1/10th electric 4wd buggy. Featuring a new chassis layout with centre slipper/diff, motor and battery moved significantly forward makes the car faster and easier to drive on any surface. It sports a unique one-way centre slipper with precisely adjustable slipper for more forward traction, less diving under braking and easier landings. The side guards have now symmetrical mounting to the chassis left and right and the chassis features multiple battery mounting positions with various O-ring diameters for every battery size. Sporting centre dogbones for better performance and less maintenance, their new front & rear diff outdrives with inner O-rings help eliminate damage in high impacts. There is also a redesigned servo holder and shorter radio plate that is fitted directly on chassis so it has no negative effect on chassis flex. The new aluminium centre bulkhead is designed to fit the new one-way centre slipper (carpet version) and the arm lengths for both carpet and dirt versions have been standardised with both kits coming with short length hard front arms and long hard rear arms in the hard composite. There is a new front graphite chassis T-Brace (carpet edition) to increase front stability on high traction tracks, making the car more predictable and easier to drive. The T-Brace is mounted via included aluminium posts to the chassis and to the front lower brace. And finally there is different centre upper top decks included in the Carpet and Dirt versions due to the dimensions of the one-way slipper vs gear diff

Infinity competition tool line

Creation Model have released their new Infinity tool line. All tools feature the ultra-lightweight machined aluminium handle that is finished perfectly with the Team Infinity logo and black and red anodising. The overall thickness and knurling position have been optimised to provide an excellent grip. The tips are made of carbide steel and are perfectly sized to fit each size of screw head. Available as a set, each of the tools is also sold separately with spare tips also available. Completing the extensive range is a glow plug spanner, this multi-tool can be used to install and remove glow plugs (8mm sockets), flywheel nuts (10mm sockets), and cap screws (5mm hex wrenches) for the suspension balls on GP racing cars. The available tools include hex tips for 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm & 3.0mm, ball tip hex drivers in 2.0mm & 2.5mm, flat head and arm reamer both in 3.0mm and finally a 5.5mm & 7.0mm socket driver.

Awesomatix A12, A800MMX & A800FX options

Awesomatix have released a number of new option parts for their A12 as well as the A800MMX and A800FX. First up for the A12 is a -6mm wheelbase set, that provides a 6mm shorter wheelbase with AT1204 steering blocks and a 3mm shorter wheelbase with AT1204-ZT steering blocks. Each part is also available separately. Next up is a simple tuning option, a pair of C1.1 (Dark Brass) front springs. Next up for the Awesomatix double universal joints is this extra strong steel universal ring set, especially recommended for racing at tracks with hard boards. Provides reduced backlash with improved concentricity and precision as well as improved strength. For the A800FX is a new cap head screw, the length of which is optimal for the currently most popular FWD body shells. Finally for the MMX is the updated front bulkhead that features slightly modified end tips to further extend the clearance of the steering link at full lock under suspension up travel.

JConcepts Mono RC10 Truck front & rear wheels

JConcepts supports the vintage RC enthusiast with the release of new Mono wheels. The original offset wheels for the RC10T have been highly sought-after for years by drivers looking to outfit a restoration project or racers actively racing their vehicles. The 2.2” Mono wheels are inspired by the originals, feature the iconic dish shape with the front utilising the non-flanged 3/16 x 3/8” bearing and the rear the pin drive setup for 3/16” axles. The wheels include a vent hole on the outer diameter and an outer lip to reduce the ability for glue to run down the face of the wheel during application and curing. JConcepts wheels are moulded in a durable material with precise techniques to ensure dependability and performance. Xpress Execute XQ10R mid-motor touring car

Xpress have released the latest iteration of their popular Execute XQ10 touring car, the XQ10R. Using the same basis, with mod motor configuration, split bulkheads and an economical price, the new ‘R’ now comes with a ton of options now as standard. The car now comes with a king pin set, composite spool titanium 3.5mm outdrive adaptor, 2.0mm graphite upper deck and upper deck collar, a composite anti tweak battery holder and 0.5mm lower suspension mount spacer. There is also the adjustable ackermann steering plate, hard strong composite C-Hub 4 Degree Ver.2, graphite 2.25mm high flex main chassis plate, body support brace, hard strong composite rear upright Ver.2, graphite 3.0mm front and rear high flex shock tower, hard strong front & rear composite suspension arms Ver.2 (2 packs) and finally the long travel short shock set (2 sets).

Surpass Hobby 390 Rocket RC Supersonic BL motor

Surpass Hobby has launched a new 390 Rocket RC Supersonic sensored BL motor for 1/12 and 1/14 offroad, monster trucks & crawlers. Available in four different turns, 8.5T, 10.5T, 13.5T and 17.5T they feature a sealed, dustproof and waterproof design. The case is made from high-strength 7075 aluminium for efficient heat dissipation while internally they have used US made copper wire winding to create extremely low internal resistance. The 390 motor of rocket RC can be disassembled and reassembled to facilitate cleaning and maintenance and effectively prolong its service life.
