The Suburbs 2WD front tyre provides a smooth steering response and features an offset house tyre tread that is ideal for outdoor hard-packed/blue grooved tracks or indoor clay surfaces.

It brings the tough and rugged look of full-size Short Course trucks straight to your truck and features a moulded-in bead-loc ring, 11 triangulated spokes and a scale P-L logo. DE Racing has just released a new line of 1/8 scale buggy wheels. Making use of the already known 1/10 scale Borrego wheels the 1/8 scale siblings bring a touch of scale realism and style adopted from the pro buggy class of short course racing, and incorporate a simulated bead lock ring and foam mud plug to their design. Available in black, silver, white and yellow colour the wheels feature a rigid sidewall, larger diameter and width, 17mm hex and a glue channel to make mounting easy. The rims are sold in packs of four and also sport extra internal clearance for modified Losi 8ights.

JConcepts have released the 3Ds 1/10th buggy race tire in blue, green and orange compounds. Developed to be the ultimate slick-groove tire, the 3Ds are a first to combine the high-stability design of a black groove bar tire into an individually flexible pattern of finely spaced Double Dee lugs in one package. As racing on both indoor and outdoor conditions have matured, a more flexible, supremely grippy tire design was necessary to drive the edgy, fast pace. The 3Ds grip are a new, highly sought after, favorite in these conditions. Also making its debut is the Inverse, 2-piece 12mm hex wheel for the B4.1 and B44.1. The 2-piece design provides several benefits for maximum performance and ease of use. Avid is pleased to announce their off-road wheel line. The first release will be the Sabertooth SC wheel for the SC10 family of trucks, followed closely by a version for Losi trucks. The 5-spoke wheel is of a lightweight design, incorporate a +3mm offset to get the truck to the maximum legal width and sport an over-sized glue catch bead. The center-point injected wheels offer maximum trueness and sport a swirl pattern design to mate with serrated wheel locking nuts for added security. JConcepts brought several new products to show and use at this week’s 26th Pro-Line Cactus Classic. First up is the Pressure Points truck tire that makes use of the tread recently introduced with the Pressure Points short course tire. The latest low-height tread option is specifically designed to tame high-speed courses with either wet or blue groove traction conditions. The tread starts as an angular, low pin design as a carryover from the Bar Codes front tire and sports small points combined with Y elements to achieve a maximum in penetration and tack. The inner side-wall has built-in ribbing which limits carcass collapse and increases support on the outside during hard cornering and driving.
