Travis Amezcua joins Hot Bodies

Travis Amezcua joins Hot Bodies

Neo Buggy have the scoop on top US off road racer Travis Amezcua, who has left his current employers Team Losi, leaving behind him a strong record there. Travis has been on and off the gas off road scene, but his domination of qualifying at last year’s ROAR buggy nats, and performances since, prompted Novarossi to sign him to the US team, made up of Amezcua, Mike Truhe and Phillip Atondo – all Losi drivers. His new role at HPI/Hot Bodies will see him focus on the development of the companies 1/8th and 1/10th scale off road cars, and also assumes the role of US off road team manager.

The second interviewee is Belgian racer Nick Cuypers, a previous Belgian Champion, Nick finished 2nd at this track last weekend when the first round of the Belgian 200mm Nationals took place there.

Sabrina Lechner & Sarah Pierson

Continuing the interviews from the Euro B 1/10th scale Championships in Roeselare, the organisers have sent us an interview they have made with 2 young lady racers, Sabrina Lechner of Germany and Sarah Pierson of France. Don’t think they are at the event to be spectators as these girls are pretty quick with Sabrina finishing the German Nationals as runner up last year and Sarah is currently lying 3rd in the French Nationals and both racers are sponsored.

Axe Rossi respond to Gomez

Axe Rossi respond to Gomez

Following the statement made yesterday by Ricardo Gomez, father of Richi, in relation to the disagreement between his son and engine manufacturer Axe Rossi, the Italian company has responded with their own statement. In it they claim that the products that Richi received were up to scratch and even allowed Richi win his first National race that he took part in with the engine and they are of the opinion that the only reason he has left Axe Rossi was because he was offered a better offer from a different manufacturer. The saga continues.
