For 2018, JConcepts has decided to step it up to the next level, filling out a schedule fueled by their passion and love for R/C monster trucks. The year kickes off on March 22nd to 24th at the Monster Jam World Finals where JConcepts will take part in the R/C Monster Jam World Finals Performance which coincides with the Monster Jam Party in the Pits in Las Vegas. This is the perfect opportunity to Meet and Greet with some of the world famous Monster Jam drivers during the pit party and take in some R/C monster truck action. After kicking off the year with the Monster Jam World Finals Performance, JC invite you to bring your trucks and compete at the other thrilling events filled with ultra-competitive side-by-side bracket-style racing in various classes like Pro Mod, 2.2, Retro, etc. An event set out to be different from the rest is the 1st Annual JConcepts MonsterCross held on May 5th to 6th in St. Beaver, PA. Borrowing ideas from 1/10th scale off-road racing, multiple trucks will go wheel to wheel in heat races to sort qualifying for Sunday’s main events. The concept is to give more racers more track time and to determine who truly owns the baddest and fastest truck in the land. The complete schedule can be found here.

Schumacher Indoor Masters Rd5 – Report

The fifth round of the Worksop Series once again had a great entry of 15 heats of drivers spread across the three classes of 2WD, 4WD and vintage buggy. As always it was round by round qualifying as the racing format, with the best two results from four rounds of qualifying counting towards the final position. Qualifying in 2WD was dominated by Mitchell Fiddling who took TQ in three out of four rounds, so therefore he would line up on pole. In 4WD it was much closer and several drivers were battling it out for TQ honours, in the end Tom Cockerill would line up on pole. In the Vintage class it was very close between Richard Johnson and Chris Slater, in the end they were tied on points but Richard had the fastest time so would line up on pole.
