Robert Bowers wins at Rocky Mountain Meltdown

The Rocky Mountain Meltdown was held in Calgary, AB recently and it saw Robert Bowers walking away with the TQ and win in the E-Buggy class. Following some entertaining qualifiers Robert would lock up the TQ and pole position for the final that saw him dropping to 2nd after some early lap mistakes. This meant he would be in a battle with Jordan Anderson and Byron Brown but Robert settled down again and he worked on getting back to leader Carter. Bowers came closer but had a handful to really get to Carter’s bumper until disaster stroke for the leader with one minute to go. With a lucky break Robert got past Carter for that extra lap and to take the win from Jordan Anderson and Byron Mackenzie.

Bayer & Novotny win at Czech 1/10th off-road Nats Rd2

The second round of the Czech Electric Off-road Nationals was held in Janovice over the weekend. Belgian Electric On-road Nationals Rd3 – Report

The third round of the FBA Belgian Electric On-road Nationals was held at the fast track of Roeselare in the western part of the country. For the organising club RCR it was a special event as it would be the last national electric race at the current track as the circuit will be relocated near the motorway in time for the 2018 season. The long 4-day weekend meant that most drivers had plenty of time to find the right setup on the bumpy track with its long 90m straight line. Many drivers tested a PSS system in order to find the perfect handling but the traditional four classes of Rookie, Touring 13.5, Formula and Touring Modified were run on a single day.
