Daniel Rubio wins at Andalusia Touring Series Rd3

Round three of the Andalusia Touring Series was held at the Circuit de Gabias in Granada, Spain. In the supporting Formula class MD Racing’s Daniel Rubio brought him the win in the A-main from Carlos Manual Garcia (Xray) and Joaquin Leite (Yokomo). With three wins in a row Daniel is also leading the points standing with two rounds to go. Joaquin Leite is sitting in second, Carlos Manual Garcia rounds out the top 3 of the championship so far.

Bayer brothers sweep Czech EP Buggy Nats Rd2

The second round of the Czech 1/10th Electric Off-road Nationals was held at the clay track of Janovice. The 2WD qualifiers were a done deal for Martin Bayer who TQed all three rounds to take the overall TQ from Kaja Novotny and Zdenek Miksovsky. In the 4WD qualifiers the Bayer brothers of Martin and Ales showed great fights with Martin holder the upper hand as Ales put his car on the 2 spot. Kaja Novotny had to settle for third.

TopRC Track Masters Rd2 – Report

Round two of the TopRC Track Masters was held in Zagreb, Croatia at the technical yet fast Ayrton Senna track. In the premier 1/8th On-road class Nejc Mihelič, Jernej Vuga Štendler and Herfried Pucher battled for the overall TQ. The opening qualifier was won by Jernej who had to sit out Q2 due to being busy with race support, allowing Nejc to score a 20 laps TQ run, bettering Jernej’s previous time. For the final qualifiers the track had become slower so the top 3 qualifying positions would be Nejc from Jernej and Herfried.

Joel Valander doubles at Finnish Off-road Nats Rd1

The opening round of the Finnish 1/10th Electric Off-road Nationals was held in Hyvinkää in pretty warm and sunny weather conditions. In the 2WD class Joel Valander would grab the TQ with two round wins from Joona Haatanen in second and Karri Salmela in third. The finals then were a 3-horse race for the win with Joel coming out successful after winning A1 and A3. Joona Haatanen in second and Karri Salmela in third would round out the top 3 result.

RC Lemans Series Rd3 – Report

Round three of this year’s RC Lemans Series was held at the popular Ville de Luxembourg track. Warm weather during Saturday’s practice made for exceptional traction that would increase even further during the qualifiers. At the end of an eventful qualifying current championship leader Tim Altmann would place his car on the TQ spot with reining champion Tobias Weist on the 2 spot just 0.6s behind. Both were able to score maiden 18 laps runs with Tobias setting a new Pro10 track record with a 16.704s. Behind the two Philipp Paul came in third in his first start of the season. Joachim Behnken, Jaques Libar and Reinder Wilms completed the top 6 of the LMP1 Modified class.

WRC Contest 2016 – Announcement

The 2016 WRC Contest will be held on the 5th of June at the Pista RC Team track in Reggio Emilia. The event will be held in the three classes of Touring Modified, Stock 13.5T and Formula with last year’s race attracting over 70 entries to race on the high-grip asphalt track. This year again some of the fastest Italian drivers will make an appearance and more information about the event can be found here.

Stefan Schulz doubles at East German regionals Rd1

The first round of the East German regionals was held at the Bernau Motodrom. In the Electric Touring 13.5T class Stefan Schulz took the TQ and he easily won the A-main in front of Robert Komfort and Ralph Schmidt. The Formula class had Kai-Oliver Gutschau putting his car on the 1 spot for the finals but it was again Stefan Schulz who came out successful. Kai-O had to settle for second while Uwe Sieber completed the top 3 result. Elsewhere in the 1/8th Nitro On-road class Wilfried Stecker took the day’s win from Kosta Saritsaklis.

Noah Asendorf wins at Swiss Touring Nats Rd2

Round two of the Swiss Touring Nationals was held at the Schaffhausen track and in the Touring Pro Stock class it was Noah Asendorf (Xray) who grabbed the day’s win from second placed Marco Siegenthaler (HB). In third Marco Balmer (Team Magic), coming from the 4 spot on the grid, rounded out the podium result.
