The final round of the 2016 Maltese Onroad Championship was held at the IRMCC track in Pembroke. In the 1/10th 200mm F2 category, Kyle Spiteri (Xray) would seal the championship thanks to a TQ and win at the finale to take the title from Xray team mates Charles Vassallo and William Mallia.

The recent second round of the Swiss Electric On-road National Championship was held in Herblingen near Schaffhausen. In the Touring Modified class Florian Hauser would hold the overnight TQ following wins in Q1 and Q2 but in the colder conditions on Sunday morning Fabian Widmer would strike back. With both tie on points the tie-breaker would hand Fabian the overall TQ from Florian in second and Oliver Krähemann, in his first Modified race, in third.
The Protoform Western Canadian Indoor Championship Series WCICS, which celebrated its 25th Anniversary this season, again hosted eight events across Western Canada. For the second year in a row, CRC driver Blake Bell took the 1/12th Modified championship. Roche Racing’s Korgae Scales finished second overall, and Team Associated’s Peter Toszer came in 3rd. The 2016/17 season of the championship which will kick off September 23rd in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The recent third round of the Malaysia National Championship was held in the town of Sibu in East Malaysia. The race format saw six round of qualifying followed by triple mains. In the Touring 13.5T Boosted class the battle for the top spot was on between Michael Lo (Awesomatix), Chong YeeYong (Awesomatix), Albert Tang (ARC), Max Teo (Destiny) and James Ki (Awesomatix). Michael would take the TQ in the opening qualifier from Chong YeeYong, Albert Tang, Max Teo and James Ki.

Round two of the Turkish Onroad Championships was held at the Efmod track in Izmir. Like in wide parts of Europe the weather forecast for the weekend was pretty depressing. Friday’s practice would be held in dry conditions but arriving on Saturday morning the track was damp, meaning further practice would be delayed a couple of hours. Right in time for the first rounds of practice it started to rain again which meant further delays. As more rain was predicted for Sunday the organisers decided to go ahead with a shortened schedule of one practice round, two qualifiers and shorted sub and main finals to make sure the race could be held on Saturday.
Round three of the Malaysia Electric Touring National Championship was held in Sibu East, Malaysia. In the Touring Modified class Azri Amri (Xray) took the top qualifier position and he would hold on to the first place in the mains too, taking the day’s win from teammate Norazam (Xray) while Yokomo driver Shahrin rounded out the top 3 result.
The fourth round of this year’s Catalonia regional Formula Championship Series was held at the Cerdanyola Modelcar race track with over 20 drivers in attendance. The high level of racing made for entertaining mains and finally Sergi Franch (Xray) went home with the win from Alain Biesca and Carlos Rojo in second and third respectively, both driving prototype cars.

The opening round of the Danish Electric On–road Nationals was held in the town of Vejle. The track offers a challenging layout with loads of curves, chicanes and long straights and unfortunately rainy weather on Saturday disturbed the practice sessions, limiting track time for the drivers. In the Touring Super Stock class Mike Gosvig (Xray) would take the TQ after sweeping the qualifiers while Soren Holst (VBC) and Steven M. Olsen (Xray) lined up in second and third respectively for the finals.
