Thurston & Beal take BRCA 1/10th IC track titles

Last weekend’s BRCA 1/10th IC On-Road race meeting was the last one of this year’s UK National Championship for Nitro Touring Car and Sports GT. The race was held at the very technical Cotswold track in good weather conditions on Saturday and with around 45 drivers in attendance. Sunday morning was very foggy and the track was damp but quickly dried up when the sun came out. In the premier 200mm Touring class Alex Thurston was in a good position to grab the overall title and coming in second after the qualifiers things looked very promising. In the main final he suffered from a flame out but at the end Alex was able to snatch the overall Championship. In the Sports GT class Glyn Beal took the TQ and the win and with it the 2015 National Championship title.
