Last weekend the RC1 Cup was held in the Czech Republic. Run in various electric on-road and off-road classes the event saw Michal Blahovsky taking the TQ and win in the 2WD Modified Buggy class from Serpent team mate Jan Kanina.

The first round of the JConcepts Challenge Norway saw Team Associated’s Daniel Kobbevik dominating the weekend by winning four out of five classes. The young man not only grabbed the maiden win in Norway for the new B44.3 buggy in the 4WD class but he also succeed in the 2WD, 2WD Racing Truck and 1/8th E-Buggy category – the latter being a new class in Norway run with 2S batteries and short course motors. In E-Buggy Daniel was hugely challenged by Oyvind Fast Olsen but a better tie-breaker handed Daniel his 4th win of the weekend. Last but not least in the Short Course class Dag Andre Karlstad brought home the win.

The Fall Classic was recently held at Revelation Raceway and it was TLR’s Adam Drake who TQ’d and won the 1/8th Expert Nitro Buggy class. One lap behind Shaun Kirkman ended the race in 2nd position while Cody Smith rounded out the podium in 3rd.

The opening round of the Italian Capricorn Championship was held at the Big Model track in Ciampino. The series is run in a Touring Car Modified and 13.5T Stock class and in Modified it was Alessio Menicucci who took the pole position for the finals in front of Diego Macchioni and Alessio Valentini. The Stock class had Massimo Fabiani and Andrea Attura fighting for the TQ with the better end for Massimo who grabbed the pole in front of Andrea Attura and Maurizio Bicchi.

The traditional Leonberg Indoor Race was held this past weekend with 80 drivers attending in the 1/10th electric off-road classes. In 4WD Buggy it was Patrick Hofer who took the TQ and the win. Oliver Scholz came in 2nd while Sandro Bamert completed the race in 3rd place.

The 2014/15 Slovakia Cup will be held at the Hudy Arena during the Winter season, starting next Saturday the 25th of October. The series will see the running of Touring Car Modified and Stock classes along Pan Car GT and Formula 21.5T categories. Additionally 2WD and 4WD Buggy classes are run. This year’s JMRCA 1/10th GP Touring Car nationals were held this past weekend. In the Open class Mugen’s Takaaki Shimo took the TQ from reigning 1/8th On-road World Champion Tadahiko Sahashi (Serpent). In the final Takaaki made maximum use of the qualifying result by taking the win from Mugen team mate Keisuke Fukuda. Tadahiko ran into engine trouble which denied him a podium finish while Shoki Takahata (KM) rounded out the podium in 3rd place.

The 5th round of the Malaysia National League was held at 3 Stone Park track in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with a total of 72 racers from Malaysia, Singapore, Hongkong, Switzerland and Indonesia in attendance. The race saw the running of a Pro, Semi Pro and Amateur class and the race format was five rounds of 10 minutes qualifying with the three best rounds to count and Christmas tree finals. In the Pro class it was Jason Nugroho who took the win in the final after having a clean start and taking the lead some 10 minutes into the main. Wenyi came in 2nd while Adrian Wicaksono completed the top 3. With the win at round 5 Jason was also handed the trophy for coming in 1st in the Pro class oversea drivers ranking.
