Zen Racing 1/12th double left clamping hub

Zen Racing have introduced their new double left clamping positive wheel lock hub for 1/12th scale pan cars. This new design left clamping hub will fit any of today’s 1/12th scale axles and it is made to give a positive location to the wheel which when secured will not twist or buckle. The double clamp screws also ensue the hub does not slip on the axle and supports the hub to run true. The hub is wider than normal hubs so rear track width adjustment may be required.

P-One 1380mAh LiFe receiver battery pack

WRC Racing have introduced their new P-One 1380mAh 6.6V LiFe receiver battery pack. Made from high-quality Lithium-Ferrite cells the RX pack offers a voltage of 6.6V, making it usable with standard voltage receivers and servos while offering a high capacity and low weight. The straight-type battery comes pre-soldered with a universal-type receiver plug and an industry-standard balance connector and is usable for most 1/8th and 1/10th on-road cars and many 1/8th off-road buggies.

T-Works introduce new MTC1 aluminium option parts

T-Works have introduced new aluminium option parts for the Mugen MTC1 touring car in the form of ECS shaft bushings, front spool cups and anti-roll bar pivot balls. The ECS shaft bushings/couplers, front blade spool cups and anti-roll bar balls are direct replacements for the standard kit items and they are made from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium for a low weight and come hard-anodised for wear.

Simon Kurzbuch sweeps Guan Kou Sunpadow Grand Prix

The Guan Kou Sunpadow RC Car Grand Prix was held in Xiamen last weekend and it was Simon Kurzbuch who swept the 1/8th Nitro On-road class. In qualifying Simon took the TQ honors with a good margin over freshly crowned Italian champion Marco Vanni and in the main final Simon quickly stormed away from the rest of the field. Controlling the race from the top he was never challenged for the lead and took a convincing victory.

Ultimate Racing MZ8 Pro BL motor & MX8 Race ESC

Modelix Racing from Spain have introduced their all-new Ultimate Racing MZ8 Pro brushless motor and MX8 Race brushless speed controller. Starting with the motor, the 690-size unit features a CNC-machined 3-piece 7075 aluminium case with integrated heatsink and it is of a 6-pole design for power and drivability. Strong neodymium magnets ensure high torque and an optimised stator design, dual high-quality ball bearings and pre-soldered quick-change heavy duty connectors make for high reliability. The motor is available in 1900kV and 2100kV variants and it includes pre-soldered wires.

Folman & Gosvig win at DRCMU series Rd3

Round three of the Danish DRCMU series was held in Randers last weekend. The large track was laid out with grey ETS carpet and after some very competitive qualifiers it was Patrick Folman with the TQ in the Touring Super Stock class from Mike Gosvig 2nd and Kevin Nielsen 3rd. In the A-mains it was Patrick with the win in A1 while Mike came out fastest in A2 to shift the decision for the overall win to the third and final main. A3 then saw again Patrick taking a narrow 0.3s win from Mike while Kevin came in 3rd, only 1.4s short of Mike. Overall it was Patrick with the win from Mike 2nd and Kevin 3rd.

Simon Horak successful at Top Speed Challenge

The Czech Modelklub RK club played host to a round of the Top Speed Challenge last weekend. The race was held on a tight and technical track and in the Formula class it was Simon Horak (Xray) with the TQ and win in the A-main from the Xray duo of Radek Rusmich and Petr Svaták.

Colombian Electric On-Road Nationals finale – Report

The Colombian Electric On-Road National Championship recently concluded, with the finale being held at the Bima Racing Track in Bogota. Race organiser Rodrigo Salgado (ARC) took the title in the Touring Superstock 10.5T, showing a consistent performance during a weekend where the rain was always present. Rodrigo could take the TQ and a double A-win as Juan Pablo Torres (Xray) took the vice–championship title and Jairo Luna (ARC), managed to take the final spot on the podium after a good battle with Leonardo Buitrago (Tamiya).
