One ride height & droop gauge set

Coming from One is a ride height and droop gauge set. Machined from aluminium and coming black anodised and with white easy-to-read markings the set includes a pair of 20mm chassis blocks, a 3mm to 10mm ride heigh gauge as well as a -5.5mm to 10mm suspension droop gauge. Both utilise 0.5mm increments for precise measurement and adjustment.

Schumacher BTCC Rd5 – Report

This past weekend was the fifth round of the Schumacher BTCC series, this time at the very fast circuit of Halifax. As always the track was in great condition, also the weather was mainly dry throughout the day. The format was four rounds of qualifying on round by round and this was then followed by double finals for everyone. Modified would see Olly Jefferies line up at the front for this class and after the finals he would also coming in 1st from Chris Grainger 2nd and Zak Smith 3rd.

Muchmore Fleta ZX V2 ER Fixtiming Spec BL motor

Muchmore are busy adding more variants of the all-new Fleta ZX V2 brushless motor to their portfolio. The latest outcome is the ER Fixtiming Spec motor that builds on the same teardown as the Type-ER but its fixed timing design makes it ideal for spec racing classes and as handout motor. It comes as 13.5T, 17.5T and 21.5T variant and will hit stores very soon.

Carlos Peracho wins at Spanish IC Track Nats Rd3

This past weekend the third round of the Spanish Nitro On-road National Championship was held at the Asociación de Getafe de radiocontrol club in Madrid. The race saw high temperatures and high traction and during Saturday’s qualifying and in the 1/8th class there was a great fight for the pole position that was decided in the final round with Carlos Peracho Heras ultimately coming out on top, setting a new track record in the process. The race for the win in the main final was then on between Carlos and Guillermo. Both were on different strategies with Carlos opting for two tyre stops while Guillermo only did a single pit stop for tyres. The battle went on until engine trouble hit Guillermo, allowing Carlos to win the race in front of Alberto Alonso in 2nd and Sergio Montesinos 3rd, making it an all-Shepherd podium. Elsewhere in the 40+ final Miguel Delgado (Shepherd) took the winning honours.

Zen Racing AE-style rear slide pivot mount

Zen Racing have introduced the Team-Associated-style rear slide pivot mount usable on a range of pan cars. The piece allows to use the new AE-style pop-on pivot ball holder on any car using the old style fixed pivot. All that is needed apart from the pivot mount will be Team Associated’s #4728 for the pivot ball holder to use this centre pivot mount.

Serpent Project 4X shorter carbon roll damper supports

Serpent have released a set of shorter 7mm roll damper supports for the Project 4X touring car. The parts are machined from carbon fibre and due to being slightly shorter they will change the front suspension geometry in a way that they make for a more responsive car in most conditions. Included in the set are two support plates.

Roche Rapide F1 aluminium front body post mount

Made for the Rapide F1 car is an aluminium front body post mount from Roche. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming black or red anodised and with machined silver edge details the part ensures the front body mount post is keeping its position when swapping front wing types. This will reduce the amount of bodies to have while also making for a more sturdy body mounting at the same time. Included with the brace comes suitable mounting hardware for the wing and mount.

Chris Brame wins at SWCS Race Rd5

After a very hot weekend of racing at RCRCNT in Dallas, Texas, Chris Brame took win after a gruelling 30-minute main event at round 5 of the SWCS. Brame’s Novarossi-powered IGT8 powered out a victory on the hot and slick track while TQ Jeff Whiting (Serpent/Novarossi) ran into issues at about the seven-minute mark. The heat also got to Richard “Pit” Racer’s (IGT8/Picco) clutch and quickly fell off the pace as well. Ultimately and behind Chris it was Darrell Byrd (Serpent/Novarossi) with the runner-up spot while Keith Byrd (Serpent/Picco) rounded out the top 3 result.
