The final round of the Peruvian 1/8th Off-road Nationals was held in Lima, Peru recently. IGT8’s Fabrizio Martello took the overall TQ and also the win with his pre-production buggy from Xray’s Sergio Suarez in 2nd and Mugen’s Alejandro Nieto in 3rd. Mugen’s Ian Alencastre and Xray’s Marco Alvarez would complete the top 5 results.

The second round of the Xray Racing Series Slovakia took a place last weekend at the Hudy Racing Arena with a recored entry of more than 200 sign-ups for the on-road and off-road classes. The event saw practice on Friday with triple qualifiers and finals on Saturday. In 2WD Mod Buggy and 4WD Mod Buggy it was Martin Bayer with the opening wins in Q1. Martin carried on the momentum to snatch the overall 2WD TQ later on, while Max Götzl upped his pace to take the overall TQ in 4WD. Max Götzl and Bartosz Zalewski would come in P2 and P3 in 2WD while Martin Bayer and Adam Izsay completed the 4WD top 3. In the Stadium Truck class it was also Max with the overall TQ followed by Michal Sekal and Rafal Ilendo.

The second round of the 2019/20 ONE12 Series took place at the RC Landia indoor track in Scandiano, Italy this past weekend. The venue assured great racing conditions and the perfect setup for robust attendance in both GT12 and LMP Open Modified. The race was also enriched by the presence of several top drivers, who chose the Italian race as one of their preparation stages for the IFMAR 1/12th scale World Championships to be held in early January 2020 in the UK. In LMP Open Modified, Michal Orlowski delivered an impressive Grand Chelem taking TQ, the overall race win and the official lap record of RC Landia track with 10.738 seconds. During the morning qualifying, Michal displayed great consistency in all three runs ahead of Jörn Neumann who was the only other driver capable of scoring fast lap times below the 11-second barrier. Current ONE12 Series points standings leader, Alessio Mota came in 3rd. In the afternoon finals, Orlowski’s driving was flawless and with back to back 43-lap runs he was able to clinch the overall victory ahead of Mota and Marcello Galli.

It is a quick and easy way to personalise the transmitter to the maximum as it is machined from high-quality aluminium and of a cool new turbine design that greatly enhances the overall appearance of the transmitter while offering improved stability for more precise steering action. The steering wheel is available in seven different colours including black, blue, light blue, green, gold, orange and red while machined silver colour edge details and a laser-engraved logo make the wheel stand out. The part is a direct fit and can be combined with RDRP’s new Sanwa M17 RDRP0501 dial and nut set.
The 15th annual MRTO Challenge was held in Altnau, Switzerland this past weekend and it was SWorkz/Nosram’s Micha Widmaier who made the double by winning the 2WD Modified and 4WD Modified classes. In 4WD Micha left behind Xray/GM Racing’s Nico Schmid in 2nd and Xray/Hobbywing’s Aaron Münster in 3rd while over in 2WD Modified Buggy it was Nico and Florian Schmid (both Xray/GM Racing) who would fill the top 3 spots behind Micha.

The second round of the The RC Compound Winter Series was held this past weekend at the The RC Compound indoor dirt track in Des Moines, Iowa. The event attracted over 100 entries and in Modified 2WD Buggy it was Tom Rinderknecht with the overall TQ from Alex Vanderbeek in 2nd. The single 5-minute A-main event however saw 3rd place qualifier, Mason Fuller taking the win a super narrow 0.8 seconds in front of Tom Rinderknecht as Kaden Fuller came in 3rd to complete the all-TLR top 3 result. Over in 4WD Mod Buggy it was again Tom with the overall TQ and Mason with the overall win as Alex Vanderbeek (Team Associated) would round out the top 3.

Coming soon from Ielasi Tuned is their new Hummer Evo 3.5cc nitro off-road engine. Basically new engine compared to the previous Hummer 7T WC, the Evo sports an updated crankcase and a redesigned 5-port sleeve.
