Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced a set of titanium pivot balls for the Team Associated RC8B3 buggy. Made from high-quality material the titanium pivot balls scrub a good amount of weight compared to the kit’s steel parts while also being much less prone to corrode and wear, making them virtually a fit and forget. The titanium pivot balls are compatible to all 3rd generation RC8 kits including the RC8B, RC8B3e, RC8T3 and RC8T3e.
Vampire Racing have introduced their new 6000mAh 80C LiHV competition battery pack. Made from high-quality high-voltage Lithium-Polymer cells with a constant 80C rating the standard size 2S battery offers a nominal voltage of 7.6V and it weighs in at 305g. The pack utilises 5mm tube-type connectors, Vampire Racing’s new black design stickers, it is both EFRA and BRCA legal and available from now on.

Pepe Group have announced the signing of Elliott Boots to the MLC fuel off-road factory team. The two-time European Champion and former Worlds Top Qualifier will complete his 2017 package with the MLC product range and MLC are looking forward to a successful season. Elliott says:

Coming from ProStar R/C and available for many 1/8th buggies with pivot ball front suspension are the front Wing Arms. The unique front upper arms are designed to match the buggy’s stock geometry but they can utilise a 3-D-printed wing element to improve downforce on large high-speed tracks. The front arms are made using a strong and durable carbon nylon mix and the sets are available for the Mugen MBX7, RC8B3 and SWorkz S35 buggies. Custom colours are available to match the front wings with the body’s paintjob.
HPI Racing have announced the forthcoming release of the Savage X SS 1/8th scale nitro monster truck. Probably the world’s most popular 1/8th scale big-block nitro monster truck, the Savage has been around for nearly 15 years. The updated re-release is fitted with super heavy-duty drivetrain parts, all-metal differentials with machine-cut gears, 2.5mm TVP chassis and plenty more go-fast goodies. Another new YZ-2-specific JConcepts accessorym beside the just announced F2 bodyshell, is a pre-cut chassis protective sheet. Cut to size and a direct fit for Yokomo’s latest 2WD buggy, the decal prevents the chassis bottom from becoming overly scratched or damaged on abrasive surfaces. JC graphics make for a pleasing appearance and included in each package are two full chassis decals and two spare rear skid stickers.

JConcepts’s new F2 bodyshell is soon also available to fit Yokomo’s YZ-2 line of 2WD buggies. The body is a drop fit for the popular Yokomo YZ-2 CA and DT with cut-lines are included on each side of the body to accommodate stand-up and lay-down transmission layouts. Featuring an increased windshield angle a steady force is provided upfront during mid-flight wind gusts on large jumps while the forward cab placement changes the performance/visible bias which helps steering rotation in low traction corners. The side-pods have been simplified and JC-chamfered to remove unwanted changes in height to neutralise the at-speed handling. The front of the pods have a dual step, scoop treatment which give a first in class look to the F2 body. The rear of the cab has the Finnisher step feature which allows the placement of a secondary side window and also several louver options off the rear which can be trimmed to allow air to escape at the top of the body. The body comes clear, including window masks, decal sheet and two Aero rear wings.
HRC Distribution have introduced a new Team Magic aluminium shock tower for the E5 1/10th scale monster truck. CNC machined from high-quality aluminium and coming anodised in black or gun metal colour, the shock tower will improve the truck’s durability and suspension efficiency thanks to its sturdy construction. Multiple upper shock mounting locations also allow for a wide range of suspension geometry adjustments. The shock stay is usable on both the front and rear of the truck and it is available now.
