Maverick Strada MT RTR 1/10th RTR monster truck

German Maverick distributors LRP have introduced the Strada MT 1/10th electric monster truck. The vehicle is equipped with eight massive oil-filled shock absorbers while the 4WD drivetrain and the large diameter multi-surface tyres make for traction on every surface. The factory-assembled truck is powered by a 540-size brushed motor and it comes including a strong steering servo, waterproof brushed controller and a 2.4GHz radio system with failsafe feature. The package is rounded out by a pre-painted truck bodyshell.

SWorkz S35-2E aluminium chassis braces

Coming from SWorkz and made for the S35-2E 1/8th E-buggy are three aluminium chassis braces. Made from high-quality 7075-T6 alloy and sporting a grey anodised surface for wear and looks, the parts add more longitudinal stability while reducing flex, which can be beneficial in both bumpy and high-grip track conditions. The braces are available as front, centre and rear variant.

Pro-Line introduce new pre-mounts & compound updates

Pro-Line have introduced two new pre-mounted 1/8th buggy tyres and a compound update for the poplar Holeshot 2.0 tyre. Starting with the pre-mounts, available soon is the ElectroShot 1/8th buggy tyre on white disc wheels. The tyre tread comes from the mind of Ty Tessmann and is designed to perform just like a Hole Shot 2.0 while lasting significantly longer. The tyre is available in X2 medium and X3 soft compound.

Pro-Line 2017 F-150 Raptor Yeti Trophy Truck body

Coming from Pro-Line is the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor bodyshell for the use with Axial’s Yeti Trophy Truck. Resembling the mean looking F-150 the body is a direct fit on Axial’s scale trophy truck and it comes made from clear polycarbonate and including a comprehensive decal sheet.

Euro Contest 2017 – Announcement

The 2017 Euro Contest will be held from the 16th to 18th of June at the Barco-Off track in Italy. Considered to be one of the largest nitro off-road races in Europe, with 270 entries in 2016, the race will again be held in the three categories of Pro Nitro Buggy, Open Nitro Buggy and E-Buggy. Hobbywing XeRun 3652 & 3660 SD G2 sensored motors

Hobbywing have introduced their new XeRun 3652 and 3660 SD G2 sensored brushless motors. Equipped with a built-in chip that lets Hobbywing XR8 series brushless controllers recognise the motor, the system will provide improved performance and smoother control in sensored mode. The motor is housed in a machined aluminium case with heatsink design for optimised heat dissipation and the low cogging design with 4-pole/8-magnet setup reduces cogging for improved driving feel at lower speeds. This is further helped by a special hall sensor system that ensures clean and “error free” hall sensor output signals. On top of this the motors feature an adjustable mechanical timing in a 20 to 40 degree range and they use silicone O-ring seals for sensor port protection. The shorter 3652 motor is available as 3100kv to 6100kv variant with 3.175mm or 5.0mm output shaft while the longer 3660 variant comes in 3200kv to 4300kv specification, exclusively with 5mm output shaft.

Kyosho MP9 lightweight differential cross shafts

Coming soon from Kyosho are lightweight differential cross shafts for the MP9 series of buggies. Made from 7075 Duraluminium and sporting a hard-anodised surface for wear the parts scrub about 1.4g per piece meaning that up to 8.4g of weight can be saved when decking out all three diffs of a vehicle. The shafts come in sets of two – without the gears visible in above image – and they will hit stores soon.
