JConcepts Nessi & Swagger 1:8 Buggy Tyres

JConcepts has added two new additions to its extensive tyre range with the new Nessi and Swagger 1:8 Buggy Tyres. The Nessi tyre, shares styling cues from its successful 1:10 counterparts, but a slight increase in pin size and geometry make it quite the tire for 1:8 buggy vehicles. Racing on artificial surfaces require a lot of stability and forward-bite and the design team went to work to substantially improve performance. The new tire brings a new 3D blended pin-size, pin-separation, and a light-weight carcass. The Swagger 1:8 tyre has a multitude of heights and angular ribs for corning speed, consistency, and straight-line tracking ability. The tyre has shown to produce an easier to drive vehicle while still being capable of fast lap times. They are designed for standard 83mm mounting bead, 1:8 buggy wheels available from JConcepts.

Factory Team RC10B74.2 Steering Block Arms

New from Team Associated’s optional parts brand Factory Team are these Steering Block Arms for the RC10B74.2 1:10 4WD Buggies. Machined from carbon fibre, two new arm options are available for fine tuning the steering feel of your buggy. Screen printed with the number for easy identification, the +2 steering arms will have the smoothest and least aggressive feel while +1 will be a good middle ground between the +2 and the standard kit steering arms.

The Drake Racing LED Tuning Screw Driver

Adam Drake’s The Drake Racing has released this LED Tuning Screwdriver which has been created by his longtime friend and accomplished racer Billy Fisher. Featuring glossy carbon fibre housing, the lightweight design has is fitted with 3 bright LEDs controlled by a recessed 2 step push button switch. The lights are powered by LR44 button cell batteries and it accepts 4mm diameter tips. You can purchase the complete screwdriver, driver only, or tip only.

Willspeed 4.7lbs & 4.9lbs Front Springs

1:10 offroad specialist manufacturer Willspeed has extended its range of 12mm springs with the addition of two harder front options, green (4.7lbs) and blue (4.9lbs). The comprehensive spring range covers all demands and requirements faced within 1/10th buggy racing with the springs manufactured from tempered high carbon steel with a zinc coating for guaranteed style and longevity. With the extension of the range Willspeed has also updated their spring chart.

PR Racing 2023 SB401R 1:10 4WD Buggy

PR Racing has officially announced details of its upcoming 2023 SB401R 1:10 4WD Buggy kit release. Six new parts are being introduced to the buggy to improve performance over its predecessor. PR Racing state the most notably improvement will come from the super smooth coated V4 shock bodies and new pistons. Other new items include steering turnbuckles and rod ends and new 2mm front and rear top decks. The new kit will be released in early March 2023.

Reedy Zappers SG5 HV-LiPo LP shorty

New from Reedy is the Zappers SG5 HV-LiPo LP shorty battery. It features a new hard case design and state-of-the-art LiPo chemistry with advancements in cell manufacturing and battery construction that result in higher capacity and power output, lower internal resistance, and improved durability. Zappers SG5 HV-LiPo batteries feature a 3.8V/cell nominal voltage, which means that the battery can be safely charged to 4.35V/cell. It is well known that more voltage equals more power so there is no easier way to increase power and top speed than a higher charge voltage! Even when the typical 8.40-8.44V (4.2-4.22V/cell) charging limit is enforced, Zappers SG5 batteries shine thanks to their inherently flat discharge curve which results in higher voltage deeper into the race. A high quality, durable hard case helps prevent damage while embedded socket connectors keep power-robbing resistance to a minimum. Male ESC connectors are included!
