Techra T4 Stock Racing hard-coated front spool cups

Coming from Techra and made for the Xray T4 touring car are hard-coated aluminium front spool cups. The lightweight parts are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and they scrub about 5g of weight compared to Xray’s optional spring steel cups while offering higher rigidity than the standard composite parts. Their hard-coated surface in combination with Techra’s delrin drive shaft caps make them very durable, although they are only recommended for stock racing.

Kurzbuch & Lee dominant in Xiamen after 3 rounds

This weekend sees the top drivers from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, along with some select top international racers, including current World Champion Simon Kurzbuch, descend on the ARC International Raceway in Xiamen, China for the Guan Kou Sunpadow GP. Greeted by this amazing facility with its 200m long 3 storey driver stand and impressive track, this is the same facility that will host the 2017 IFMAR EP Offroad World Championships next November on its dirt offroad track. This race is for onroad only with 8 heats of 1/8th scale onroad and 7 heats of EP onroad split between modified and stock. This is also a money race with the winner in each class to receive approximately USD 3000.

H.A.R.M. RK-1 large scale kart kit

German large scale specialists H.A.R.M. have released first images of their new RK-1 1/2.5th scale kart kit. Aimed at modellers that seek a more easy and cost-effective way into large scale racing the kart offers scale looks with performance to match. The vehicle is based on a sturdy alloy chassis and features front and rear brakes, a scale chain drivetrain, a powerful gasoline engine and also a scale driver with helmet. The kit will become available by December and includes a Zenoah G260 engine, Mielke exhaust and airbox, GRP tyres and clear polycarbonate body panels.

Raceform Lazer car stand

Coming from Raceform is their new Lazer car stand. Made from high-quality plexiglass and being available in five colours, the stand utilises EVA foam pads to prevent slippage and scratches and the clever flip-able design also incorporates two shock holder patterns for 1/10th and 1/8th scale shock absorbers. The 2016/17 BRCA GT circuit championship Continued last weekend at another new addition to the calendar, the event was hosted by the Eastbourne club in Robertsbridge. The club laid a great track for the weekends action, based on the track that they used for the LMP national. At first some of the drivers thought it may be too tight and technical for the Saturday classes, however after the drivers had been on track it turned out to be a fun layout to drive and provided some very good racing.
