ARC R11 Mid chassis conversion kit

ARC have introduced their new R11 Mid middle motor chassis conversion kit for the 2019 and 2018 specification R11 touring car. The new layout moves the motor 25mm forward for improved weight balance, helping the car to gain steering and rotation mid corner. The updated motor bulkhead also ensures more event flex distribution between the front and the rear end which further helps with overall balance. The torsional flex of the upper deck and chassis is adjustable by two different flex plates and the new design upper deck can be mounted in two different directions to provide different setup options and a wider tuning window. The set includes the new upper and lower decks, flex plates, motor mount, centre pulleys, belts as well as mounting hardware and it is available now.

RC Maker T4 GeoCarbon servo mount plate

RC Maker have introduce their new GeoCarbon servo mount plate for the Xray T4 touring car. RC Maker’s signature GeoCarbon finish gives a very sexy style to the car, whilst also being stiffer than the original plate. The original plate also has the extension for mounting the bellcrank in the floating position, however this is very rarely used worldwide, so the designers have decided to exclude this for added aesthetics. The plate mounts directly onto the original servo mount bulkhead and fits all models from 2017 to the latest 2019 model. It is more rigid than the original, especially on the 2017 and 2018 models which are thinner than the standard 2019 bracket.

Bezerk MTS T2/3 battery hooks

Bezerk RC have released a new option part for the RaceOpt T2 and T3 touring car in the form of a battery hooks set. The battery posts are located as close to the side and centre of the battery as possible to reduce the stress on the upper retaining tab while the 5mm thick battery hooks are beefy enough to take a beating and high enough to keep the battery in its place. The mounting holes are slotted to allow a small amount of left/right adjustment and the 3mm upper tabs look minimal in size but due to their placement are more than up to the task. Bezerk recommend shimming the upper battery tab up around 0.5mm above the battery to reduce any chances of tweak. The kit includes two battery hooks, two battery tabs and two black alloy hex standoffs. Other options include shorter standoffs for very low batteries – standard 17mm, option 15mm – and they are also available in silver.

Exotek FGX Evo EFX2 carbon chassis conversion

Exotek have announced the release of their new and improved 2nd generation performance pro chassis conversion for the 3Racing FGX Evo. The set completely updates the FGX Evo into a track worthy competitor by changing out the electronics layout for optimal weight bias and more importantly drops significant weight from the base car. It gives owners that competitive edge by combining the independent suspension of the FGX with an extra lightweight yet more durable chassis package. Key features include a nearly 100g weight cut versus the stock components, a 10mm shortened wheelbase for increased corner speeds and more on power grip as well as an adjustable forward or back LiPi cradle system with lateral battery mounting accepts standard shorty batteries. It allows adjusting weight bias on the fly as track conditions require. Also included are a heavy duty top plate system that provides better durability and lower centre of gravity over the stock plate. A new F104 style chassis mounted wing allows mounting of more durable and lighter F104/Xray wings. The alloy front IFS mounting plate ensures secure IFS suspension operation and a machined front damper set with a “soft” spring set has much softer yet plush damping compared to the stock units. This greatly improves steering response and the ability to soak up bumps.
