Following the overwhelming response to their revised track, the Panik Team Troisdorf club teamed up with Tonisport to announce the first ever Panik Grand Prix. Scheduled for the weekend of the 12th of June 2016 the race will be held on the club’s flowing yet technical astroturf track near the Cologne Airport. The event will adapt the EOS rules and entries will be limited to 100 drivers for 2WD, 80 for 4WD and 20 for Mod Truck respectively. New from MR33 and coming for 1/10th touring cars and buggies are two car transportation bags. Made from black fabric and sporting the proud MR33 logo the on-road bag measures 480x300mm while the off-road bag is slightly larger at 550x330mm. …as well as local talent to race and collect money for the good cause with last year’s revenue having been donated to the Scandiano community kindergarten. Due to the limited pit space the entries are capped off at 120 drivers with the first Pro drivers having already signed up. This year’s race will be held on a brand new Fastrack HD II CRC carpet using Volante ETS tyres for the touring cars and Ride ETS tyres for the formula class. The pilot race of the Tonisport Onroad Series Austria was held at the 1. MRC Wiener Neustadt track in Vienna over the weekend. Despite being scheduled on the weekend before the EFRA 1/10th Electric Off-road European Championships in the UK the event attracted more than 100 drivers including international guests such as Bruo Coelho, Ronald Völker, Yannic Prümper and Marc Rheinard to name just a few. In the Touring Car Modified class Ronald Völker and Bruno Coelho fought for the TQ position with Marc Rheinard also being in the mix. At the end it was Ronald who came out fastest…

The 4th round of the Tonisport Onroad Series was held at the AMC Hamm outdoor track. In the Touring Car Modified class Serpent’s Marc Fischer took the TQ after the qualifiers from Christopher Krapp (Tamiya) and Thimo Weissbauer (Serpent). In the triple A-mains Marc underlined his dominant performance by making a clean sweep to take the overall win from Christopher and Thimo. Libar who had won the 1/12 title in the Tonisport Winter Cup series at the “Eifel-Ring” over the winter period, was the new leader but felt the intense pressure of Rettke who was chasing him all the time. Finally Jacques Libar brought home the win to become the third winner of this nail-biting A-mains while a second place was enough for 20 year old Jan Rettke, a regular touring car racer, to celebrate a great success by winning the 1/12th German Nats in the 10.5T Standard…

The 2nd round of the Tonisport-Winter-Cup was held at the Eifel-Ring, a permanent indoor track in Leimbach, close to the World-famous Nürburgring. A total of 40 racers attended the race that was organized by the MAC Adenau. The 13.5T Touring Car class saw an impressive battle for positions already in the three six-minutes qualifying heats. Finally Ingo Herschbach took pole position in front of his Serpent fellows Majuran Tharmalingam and Oliver Kaufmann, winner of the first TWC race weekend. …sports an updated design for improved corner speed while offering three different cutting lines for the wing height and two different wing chord lines. Two pairs of dimples allow to easily mount the win in a front and rearward position. The wing is made from tough 1mm polycarbonate and comes including a pair of 20x40mm endplates. Also new is the MR33-branded RC plastic card box with dimensions of 470x220x130mm. The box is made to protect valuable equipment such as chargers, power supplies, as well as spare parts.
