Elias Johansson wins at Swedish National Cup Rd2

Elias Johansson wins at Swedish National Cup Rd2

This past weekend round two of the Swedish National Cup was held at the nicely prepared “1990’s style” Örebro track. In 4WD Buggy Alexander Landén would take the overall TQ thanks to round TQs in the first and second qualifier, backing the results up with a second and a third place. The opening final then was quite eventful with some tough racing and Alexander was involved in an incident in the beginning of the final, but he recovered to take over the lead again only to get caught out by a rut which flipped the car with less than a minute to go. Schelle TLR 22 3.0 rear camber block & Ti motor screws

Schelle Racing Innovations have introduced two new products in the form of a TLR 22 3.0 rear camber block and 7mm titanium motor screws. Starting with the TLR part, the rear camber block was designed to offer improved durability and make for easier adjustments. The 2-piece design does away with the plastic inserts and over-sized design of the kit parts, replacing them with a sleek base and durable upper 2-piece construction that is adjustable with ballstud shims between the base and upper block. The two clamping screws which secure the mount are easily accessible from above, not obstructed by the shock tower. The block is available in black and hard anodise colour.

Russ Bryant & Paul Sinclair win at THE Series Rd2

The second round of THE Series was held at 710 Raceway in Okemos, Michigan. It was a long day, with racing starting at 9 AM and trophies around 11 PM. The track was bumpy and, as usual for Midwestern outdoor tracks with lots of sun and a nice breeze, watering was necessary. The whoops section was difficult at the beginning, and as the surface began to deteriorate the fast line through it disappeared. Russ Bryant started the day off by TQing all three rounds of Mod Stadium Truck qualifying. He then ran away with the main, leading wire-to-wire.
