Xray RX8 2019 – Coming soon

Xray have announced the soon release of the 2019 variant of the RX8 1/8th nitro on-road kit. As usual no official information about the new features and specifications are available beforehand but we keep you posted on the updates as soon as all details surface.

One ARX-482 R 2.4GHz 4-channel receiver

Capricorn have introduced the new One ARX-482 R 4-channel Sanwa-compatible receiver. Measuring 23.6×18.4×28.4mm and weighing in at 7.3g the compact “antenna-less” receiver is compatible with all current Sanwa FH3/FH4T transmitters including the all-new M17 and it features on-board voltage monitoring and is 1S to 2S LiPo compatible thanks to a voltage stabilising system. Included with the receiver come four stickers with 1 to 4 numbering, allowing to individually mark additional units.

T-Works D819 aluminium centre driveshafts

Coming from T-Works and made for the new HB Racing D819 1/8th nitro buggy are lightweight aluminium centre driveshafts. The dogbones are machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and they come black anodised for wear and laser-engraved for easy identification. Using the parts will reduce the drivetrain’s rotational mass for quicker spool-up and acceleration. The 85mm front and 118mm rear shaft are available separately or as 2-piece combo package.

Juan Carlos Canas wins at Andalusian regionals Rd2

The second round of the Andalusian regional championships was held at the Circuito de Automodelismo Luis Chacon track this past weekend. SWorkz’s Juan Carlos Canas swept both the triple qualifiers and also the 45-minute A-main final, only swapping positions with Mugen’s Jose Miguel Sanchez a couple of times around the 10-minute mark of the race. Ultimately Juan would bring home the win with a 2-laps margin from Jose Miguel in 2nd as Kyosho’s Alejandro Perez would round out the top 3 result.

KO Propo RSx3-one10 Ver.D Lite servo

Coming from KO Propo is their new RSx3-one10 Ver.D Lite low-profile servo for 1/10th drift cars. Based on the proven high-end RSx3-one10 Ver.D servo, the Lite version features a moulded composite rather than a machined aluminium top case for a lower weight while brass gears and the abdication of the ICS settings make for a more cost efficient device. The torque and speed however stayed the same as with the high-end variant, making the servo ideal even for demanding applications.

Serpent SRX8-GT – Coming soon

Serpent have announced the soon release of their all-new SRX8-GT 1/8th nitro GT kit. The car shares many high performance parts from the successful SRX8 platform and in addition to the details carried over from the SRX8 platform, Serpent have introduced many new, design concepts to push the kit well into the future as well as set itself apart from all competition. Frederik Hovgaard wins at Danish EP On-road Nats Rd7

Round 7 of the Danish Electric On-road Nationals was held at the Randers track last weekend. Yokomo’s Frederik Hovgaard was pretty much in control of things in the Touring Modified class, taking three round TQ for the overall TQ and pole position for the triple A-mains, leaving behind Patrick Hornum in 2nd. The finals then were a forth and back between Frederik Hovgaard and Michael Hovgaard (Xray), with the letter securing the win in A2 and shifting the decision for the overall to the third and final A-main. Ultimately it was Frederik with the win and the overall from Michael in 2nd and Patrick rounding out the top 3 result.

Phat Bodies 300R MTC 210mm wheelbase body shell

Phat Bodies have released their new 300R 210mm wheelbase body shell for the growing MTC mini touring car class. High clearance speed bumps on the bonnet help the sleek body sit super low on any chassis and it is made of 0.75mm Lexan polycarbonate material, comes including a high-downforce rear wing, window masks and overspray film as well as stickers and it fits a range of M-type cars such as the Xpress XM1S.
