T-Works RC8B3 series alloy wheel hubs

T-Works have introduced new aluminium wheel hubs for the Team Associated RC8B3 series of buggies. Machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised for wear and looks, the wheel hubs are available in standard, +1mm or +2mm offset configurations, allowing to adjust track and overall width easily. The standard offset hubs come as 4-piece sets while the +1mm and +2mm kits include a pair of hubs with the letter two sporting laser-etched markings for easy identification. The wheel hubs fit all RC8B3 and B3.1 buggies.

RC-Cox T4 aluminium front solid axle outdrives

Coming from RC-Cox and made for the Xray T4 series of touring cars are front spool driveshaft adapters. The outdrives are machined from lightweight yet strong 7075-T6 aluminium and are finished with a special coating for improved wear resistance. Also included are C-shaped driveshaft blades in black colour. The driveshaft adapters are usable for all T4 series cars and they help to reduce rotational masses for quicker spool-up and thus better acceleration.

Monaco RC fireproof LiPo bags

Coming from Monaco RC are two new fireproof LiPo bags. First up is the large LiPo Fly Bag, a handy container that allows to conveniently carry up to five standard size LiPo packs. The bag measures 205x55x155mm and it was designed with weekly racing and even travelling in mind. The sturdy design with a double zipper and the fireproof material allows to take the bag on-board of airplanes and due to the large size, it also can be used to transport power banks, camera batteries, electronic cigarettes and more. On track it also makes a spacious charge bag. The LiPo Fly Bag is available with a pre-cut inner foam or as bag only, making it even more versatile. Also new is Monaco RC’s standard LiPo safe bag, a traditional bag that takes up to three standard size LiPo bags. Made from fire-repellant fibre material and coming with a large hook and look strap, the bag is ideal for storage, transportation or charging of most RC-related LiPo batteries.

Martin Bayer teams up with Mibosport

Mibosport have announced the addition of Xray off-road frontrunner, Martin Bayer to their team. Martin will be using Sanwa products in all of his Xray 1/8th and 1/10th scale rides while being Mibosport representative at all races he attends locally, nationally and abroad. Martin has the following to day about the deal:

Exotek YZ-2 series LiPo tab set

Exotek have announced the release of carbon fibre LiPo tabs for the Yokomo YZ-2 and YZ-2T. Designed to replace the stock plastic tab with simpler, more secure and better working large sized carbon fibre tabs, the set includes two battery hold downs cut from carbon fibre as well as hardware and an instruction sheet. To make the set work on the YZ-2 buggy, the it requires the side rails and LiPo cups from the YZ-2T truck which are a direct fit on the YZ-2.

Jesper Rasmussen wins at Danish On-road Champs Rd5

Round 5 of the Danish Electric On-road Nationals was held in Tinglev this past weekend. In the Formula class, that suffered from a somewhat low turnout, it was Jesper Rasmussen with a clean sweep, taking the wins in all qualifiers and the triple A-mains to grab the victory from David Hansen in 2nd and Lasse Moller Horup in 3rd.

Vesa Yli takes Finnish 1/12th Modified title

Round 3 and 4 of the Finnish 12Track Tour were held this past weekend. During Sunday’s round 4 Vesa Yli and Panu Vehniäinen would battle it out in the 1/12th Modified class with the better end for Vesa after the qualifiers as he managed to separate himself from Panu by a couple of seconds. The triple A-mains again were a super close affair with the two being separated by only tenths of a second in each leg. Ultimately it was Vesa with the win from Panu, which handed Yli the overall championship title – his third in a row. Panu would end the championship on the runner-up spot while Petri Ström and Ari-Pekka Kyykkä completed the overall top 4. Over in the GT-12 class it was Jaakko Huhmarsalo with the overall title from Juha-Matti Heikkala and Janne Valtanen in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Pro-Line X-Maxx Pro-arms & Pro-Hubs

Coming from Pro-Line and made for the Traxxas X-Maxx are the new Pro-Arms upper and lower arm kit as well as the Pro-Hubs rear uprights. Starting with the arm kit, the US-made kit includes cutting edge race-style black arms with smooth bottoms that are capped off with stone gray stiffening plates resulting in extremely durable and rigid arms. The arm plates are held on by multiple flat head screws and the stone gray colour is the exact same as Pro-Line’s Impulse Pro-Loc wheel rings so they can be dyed or painted to match the truck’s style. The Pro-Arms are direct replacements for the stock X-MAXX arms and are designed from the ground up to be nearly indestructible. Each arm kit includes a set of two upper and lower arms along with the stone gray plates and hardware. The Pro-Arms are cored out from the top to save weight and the arm plates keep dirt, mud and debris out of the arms.
