Pierre Delorme signs with Xray

Xray have announced the signing of French National Touring Stock Champion, Pierre Delorme to their team for the 2016 season. Pierre has been racing Xray cars as a privateer for several years and will now be an official part of the team. The former European Championship Stock podium finisher is set for attendances at regional, national races as well as international races and he has the following to say about the deal:

I’m very happy and excited to be part of the best team in the world. The T4 is a very strong platform and the help and support within the team is just amazing and is also the main force that help to achieve the best results possible each race. I want to thank Xray for this opportunity and trust in me. I will do my best to achieve the best possible results both in France and at all international races. I am looking forward the 2016 season.

Team Associated have introduced a line of lightweight Factory Team 48 pitch pinion gears. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and coming with a hard-anodised finish for long wear the pinions feature two set screw holes, laser-etched tooth count and the larger sizes of 30 and up have holes for additional weight reduction. The pinions are available in a range of 17T to 35T sizes.

Made for the Fazer intermediate-level 1/10th scale on-road car is this aluminium steering knuckle set from Kyosho. Machined from high-quality aluminium the stub axles come anodised in a gun metal colour and laser-etched for easy identification. The parts are made to replace the standard composite knuckles for improved durability and they include a set of hardware such as screws, bushings, pivot balls and shims.

Mattia Collavo joins ARC

Reigning Italian National Senior class Champion, Mattia Collavo joins ARC for the 2016 season. Mattia plans to participate at the Italian Nationals, as well as selected ENS events, the European Championships and other major races and he has the following to say about the deal:

First of all, I would like to thank Team Shepherd and Bracing for their support over the last year. I’m happy and excited to join the ARC team and I am willing to start the new season in the best way possible. I am planning to do a lot of testing and to keep my racing schedule busy so as to give the whole team plenty of feedbacks and support. I hope to have a year full of success and satisfaction together with team ARC. See you on the racetracks!

Team Magic E4RS III+ aluminium main chassis

Team Magic have introduced a 2mm aluminium chassis plate for the E4RS III+ touring car. Machined from black anodised 7075 aluminium the symmetrical chassis provides a more predictable handling on medium to high-bite carpet tracks. Laser-etched logos in the battery pack area also add some visual impact.

Radtec -4mm 1/12 pan car diff hub set

Radtech have introduced a -4mm differential hub set for 1/12th scale pan cars. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming in blue or black colour the set includes a left and a right wheel hub who allow the use of wide offset wheels as the hubs reduce the track width by a total of 4mm. The set fits Team Associated’s 1/12th cars as well as all cars with a similar rear axle design.

Exotek Exo-Six aluminium main chassis plate

Coming from Exotek and made for the Exo-Six conversion kit is a new aluminium main chassis plate. Cut from 7075 material and coming black anodised and laser-etched the highly machined part is of a complex design to retain stiffer chassis flex traits than the carbon fibre chassis while being 23g heavier to insure the lowest possible centre of gravity for carpet racing. Despite being stiffer the chassis is also good for the use on asphalt.

HFCC Indoor Racing Series Rd1 – Report

The HFCC Racing Club in Den Haag, The Netherlands recently kicked off the Indoor Season with a new indoor racing series, the 3-round HFCC Indoor Racing Series. Run in the four classes of Touring 17.5T, M-Chassis, Formula 21.5T and 1/12th Stock the opening round attracted a good amount of drivers and racing started on Saturday afternoon after track building was done. In the Touring Stock class some close battles were on for the TQ and after the three rounds of qualifying Sybrand de Boer came out fastest in front of Daniel Jansma and Bart Wubben.
