Revtech 2S & 3S drag racing battery packs

Trinity have announced the release of their new Revtech 2S and 3S pro level drag racing LiPo battery packs. Available as 4000mAh 2S and 3S variants, the 220C-rated batteries are produced with higher grade safer materials, which results in longer battery life. The new assembly technology limits cell puffing, resulting in a more durable and impact resistant battery. The 2S pack measures 92x44x23mm and it weighs in at 208g while the 3S battery measures 92x44x34mm, weighing in at 302g. Both come pre-wired with ultra-thick 8 gauge but no battery connector.

BRCA 1/12th Nationals Rd4 – Report

The fourth round of the 2018/19 BRCA 1/12th nationals took place at North West Raceway near Birkenhead. This was a new venue for this year and the club laid a technical and challenging track layout. A capacity entry of 80 drivers were treated to a fantastic weekend of highly competitive 1/12th circuit racing. On Saturday racers competed in the 13.5 blinky stock championship with the field split into F1, F2 and F3 grades. In F1 Andy Murray took his second pole position of the season in as many meetings and was the only driver to post a 36 lap time. Championship leader David Spashett lined up second with Adam Catchpole third closely followed by a tenth of a second by Mark Stiles. In an action packed final Andy Murray stretched an early lead before a small mistake dropped him down to third behind David and Adam. Managing to pass Adam he set off after David but once in the lead David drove a smooth and consistent race and never looked back taking his third win of the series. There was then a battle for the remaining positions with Ollie Payne, current European stock champion who started an uncharacteristic sixth on the grid making a move to finish second. Adam Catchpole won his battle with Andy by the narrowest of margins to come home in third. With three wins and a second place so far and two round of the championship to go David Spashett now has one hand on this seasons trophy.

Darkside Designs B6.1 O-ring battery hold down

Coming from Darkside Designs and made for the Team Associated B6.1 is a lightweight battery hold down. The carbon fibre battery locators utilise sturdy rubber O-rings to keep the battery pack in place with the overall design scrubbing about 4.6g of weight compared to the standard mount, making it ideal for all weight-saving 17.5T racers. The kit includes gold-colour hardware and it is available now.

Nemo Racing have introduced a smaller version of their luxury pit mat whose size is ideal for 1/10th scale applications. The rubber-backed, knitted front and washable pit mat features Nemo Racing, Beta, LMR, Racing Performer, and Yokomo logos and it is available from now on.

Yeah Racing M07 reversible rear hubs

Made for the Tamiya M07 M-chassis and coming from Yeah Racing are new reversible rear hubs that allow to switch between 210mm and 225mm wheelbase settings. The clever design not only allows to easily change wheelbase settings but in addition it retains the upper camber link ball stud position, meaning there is no need to adjust the setting when swapping over the hubs. The parts come black anodised, with machined silver edge details and including a hardware package.

Pro-Spec 54g & 37g battery balance weights

Pro-Spec have released two new battery balance weights in 54g and 37g specification. The 54g weight measures 138.5×46.5x1mm and thus it is ideal for all cars using standard-size LiPo packs while the smaller 37g weight measures 95.5×46.5x1mm, ideal for all cars, buggies and trucks using shorty-type batteries. The weights come machined from high-quality brass material, they sport a natural finish and engraved ProSpec logos. Using the weights will help to either achieve an optimised overall chassis balance or to add weight when running the latest generation of lightweight LCG batteries.

Hudy 30-45mm adjustable ride height gauge

Coming from Hudy is a truggy and truck-specific 30-45mm variant of they adjustable ride height gauge. The twist-design tool allows for easy and convenient ride height adjustment in precise 1mm increments. The gauge is machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium, it comes black anodised for wear and looks and sports laser-engraved markings to allow for easy reading of the selected ride height values.
