Ryan Maifield Maxima Mx-powered through to 2020

Team Maxima Mx have announced the signing of Ryan Maifield to their factory team. The IFMAR World and multi-time national champion joins the likes of Jared Tebo, Robert Batlle or Jörn Neumann and will power his Mugen 1/8th rides using Maxima Mx engines and fuel through to the 2020 season. Ryan has the following to say about the deal:

I want to thank everyone at Mx for this opportunity, I know with there engines and fuel I will have the best possible products to compete at the highest level on any surface and at every event I attend.

1up Racing high-strength servo mounting screws

Coming from 1up Racing are their new high-strength servo mounting screws. Machined from ultra-strong U.S. 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised and with a mirror-like chamfer, the screws fit snuggly into the servo’s outer lashes thanks to a 4.2x2mm neck that keeps the servo in place even in hard crashes. With their 7.8mm outer diameter and 4mm threads the screws, that come in packs of four, fit the most popular servos used with 1/10 cars.

HRC Racing 4900mAh racing pack LiPo battery

HRC Racing have introduced their new racing-pack-style 4900mAh hardcase LiPo battery pack. The oval diameter battery mimics the outer appearance of a NiMH racing pack and is ideal for ready-to-run cars, older-spec Tamiya and Kyosho vehicles, starter boxes and other applications that require this specific battery specification. The battery is built using quality 30C cells and it is available with T-type or Tamiya-style plugs.

GForce Magnific competition LiPo batteries

GForce have introduced their new Magnific competition LiPo battery packs. Available as high-capacity 7400mAh and lightweight 5500mAh variant, both are built using highest quality 150C cells ant they feature 25.5mm tall hardcases with through-type 4mm connects. The 7400mAh pack weighs in at 306g while the 5500mAh battery weighs in at 230g. Both comes including balance harness and they are available soon.

Coming from Exotek and made for Tekno RC’s NB/EB48 series of vehicles are heavy duty aluminium steering spindles and rear hub carriers. The HD 7075 alloy steering spindles and rear hubs for the EB48.4 and NB48.4 series ensures consistent suspension performance and handling and they are extra durable for high-powered applications and polished and anodised in glossy Tekno team colours for that factory look. The spindles and rear uprights are available as separate sets and they match the stock geometry.

Buri Racer release new E2.1 & E1.3 teaser images

Buri Racer have released new teaser images of their forthcoming E2.1 and E1.3 1/8th electric pan car kits. The E2.1 is an all-new design with a central drive belt and off-set motor mount that will ensure more equal chassis flex upon acceleration and braking while updated front suspension components also for easier camber angle changes, utilising the pivot ball design found on suspension’d 1/8th on-road kits. In the rear, a new ride height adjustment ensures for an easier and wider range of ground clearance settings compared to the E1.2.

Icon RC ultraflex chassis 38g brass weight

Coming from Icon RC and made for their ultraflex chassis series is a 38g battery weight. Designed specifically to further lower the overall centre of gravity the weight is only 0.5mm thick, yet it adds 38g of weight which will result in increased stability when running on high grip carpet or asphalt tracks. Designed to fit snuggly into the milled sections of the chassis, the weight will not interfere with the natural chassis flex and it is available for the Team Associated TC7.2 and the new Infinity IF14 chassis.
