Novarossi Mephisto.21 3.5cc off-road engine

Coming soon from Novarossi is their new Mephisto.21 3.5cc nitro off-road engine. The square stroke power plant is of a 4-port design for linear power output and low fuel consumption and it features a DLC-coated crankshaft, the new R4/18 conrod for improved durability, a three-needle carburettor and an O-ring-sealed combustion camber insert. Also part of the features list is a steel-filled rear cover for reduced friction and improved durability ad well as a new cooling head for improved airflow and cooling and an optimised centre of gravity. The engine will become available as standard variant with front and rear steel bearings and also as ceramic variant with steel front and ceramic rear ball race.

It features a plastic case and with up to 8.4V input it offers 14kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.074s. Pro-Line Mud-Terrain T/A & Krawler T/A tyres

Coming from Pro-Line are two new 1.9” off-road truck tyres in the form of the Class 1 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 and BFGoodrich Krawler T/A KX Red Label Predator rock terrain tyres. Starting with the KM3, it is BFGoodrich’s Off-Road Maximum Traction tyre with aggressive tread lugs that bite into loose or muddy surfaces and climb over slippery rocks. Based on the BFGoodrich Krawler T/A KX symmetric tread design, the Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 features deep, self-cleaning independent tread blocks and linear transverse flex zones to provide the grip that you need to get over the toughest obstacles. The tyre is moulded from G8 compound and it fits most 1.9” crawler wheels.

Xray Racing Series Slovakia Rd1 – Report

The opening round of the Xray Racing Series Slovakia was held at the Hudy Racing Arena in Trencin last weekend. The event was held in several electric off-road and on-road classes and in 2WD Mod Buggy it was a pretty close affair between Martin Bayer and Kaja Novotny and eventually the overall TQ went to Martin. Kaja was starting from the 2 spot with Max Gotzl on the 3 spot on the grid. In the A-mains it was smooth sailing for Martin who brought home the win from Kaja 2nd – the latter having the pace for more but mishaps did prevent him from challenging Martin. Max Gotzl completed the podium in 3rd for an all-Xray 1-2-3 after some close fights with Matus Benetin and Bartek Kramza.

Pro-Line introduce new Bash Armor body shells

Coming from Pro-Line are two new Bash Armor series body shells for the Stampede 4×4 and Pro-MT 4×4 as well as the Slash 2WD and 4×4. The Brute body for the Stampede and Pro-MT as well as the Monster Fusion for the Slash 2WD and 4×4 are both made of Pro-Line’s all-new Bash Armor material that is twice as thick as regular 1:10 truck bodies and ultra-flexible to reduce the chance of cracking and shattering. Unlike clear polycarbonate, the Bash Armor material is white and is not paintable, so Pro-Line includes detailed decal sheets to complete the look.

Easy to use and in a compact package, the device is specifically designed to balance charge LiPo batteries in 2S to 3S configurations, making it suitable for a variety of applications. The charger is ideal for compact LiPo batteries used to power radios, receivers, and small-scale vehicles. Charging is as simple as inserting the battery’s balance lead into the appropriate charge port. Once connected, the charging process begins automatically. Convenient LEDs provide useful charging information and display error codes should users encounter a faulty battery or poor connections.
