Markus Hellquist wins SSIC Rd6

Markus Hellquist wins SSIC Rd6

The final round of the South Swedish Indoor Cup for electric touring cars was held in the very South of Sweden in the small town of Tomelilla. The track was quite technical with low traction, making many drivers suffering from rear end traction. In the practice rounds Markus Hellquist laid down the fastest lap ahead of Daniel Carlsson and Jonas Andersson. After 3 rounds of qualifying with the best round to count the order kept the same, with Hellquist being roughly one lap ahead of Daniel Carlsson and Jonas Andersson.
In the finals Markus kept on with his previous pace and never let the cars behind him come close to fight for the victory. Behind Markus there wasn’t a whole lot of action either, the top 3 kept the same in all three finals resulting in the scoreboard being exactly the same as the qualifying for the top 3.

H-Speed WTF1 carbon fibre main chassis plate

H-Speed WTF1 carbon fibre main chassis plate

H-Speed have a new carbon fibre main chassis plate for CRC’s WTF1 Formula car available. Cut from high-quality multi-directional 4mm carbon fibre the chassis allows to run a shorty LiPo pack in transversal position for increased rear traction and improved steering. The optional rear cross brace allows the use of a rubber O-ring to secure the battery pack, similar to the design seen on the Carpet Knife Xti WC 1/12th scale car. On top of that both parts will reduce the flex of the chassis for even better on-track performance.
