New titanium & aluminium screw kits from Hiro Seiko

Hiro Seiko introduce new lightweight screw kits for some of the latest car kits around. Coming as all-titanium or mixed titanium and aluminium sets, the screw kits significantly reduce the weight of the car – between 17g and 33g, depending on the vehicle they are used on – while adding a cool look at the same time. The latest additions are titanium kits for the Yokomo B-Max2 in MM and MR configuration, the Team Associated B5M, the Xray RX8’14 and NT1’14 as well as the Tamiya TB Evo.6. For the Evo.6 Hiro Seiko also have a mixed set with titanium and blue anodised aluminium fasteners available. All sets make use of high quality hex head hardware.

Tekno SCT410 LCG lightened motor mount insert

New from Tekno RC comes this lightened low centre of gravity motor mount insert for the SCT410 4WD short course truck and the EB48-SL buggy. Using the part lowers the motor by 5mm and it is usable with all Pro4 motors with standard 36mm diameter. Lowering one of the heaviest parts of the vehicle by 5mm will have a noticeable effect on handling, resulting in faster cornering and less mistakes due to traction rolling. The part is CNC machined out of 7075 aluminium, then gun metal anodised for wear.
