JConcepts RC10 Classic aluminium steering set

One of the best hop-ups that can be made to the RC10 is to update the steering bellcranks with a more durable design. JConcepts has evaluated the options and built an all aluminium design bringing the driving bell-crank into a 1-piece design eliminating the servo saver, increasing steering response and feel. The idler bellcrank sports a beefy and similar design giving the vehicle a symmetrical feel. The parts are available in blue or black and feature silver chamfered edged highlighting and laser-etched JC logo. The bellcranks are bearing supported with heavy-duty flanged bearings and include threaded aluminium steering posts for an ultra snug fit and finish. Hardware includes genuine Team Associated 8-32 x ½” aluminium flat head screws and custom aluminium post shims which locates on the bottom of the assembly. The steering kit fits all RC10 and RC10 classic buggies.

Pro-Line Wedge Squared 2WD buggy tyre

Pro-Line introduce the Wedge Squared 2WD buggy front tyre. The Wedge Squared has twice as much tread as the original Wedge making it ideal for tracks that require more steering. Other features such as the true drop-in bead and the super narrow and low-profile design are taken over from its predecessor. Thy tyre comes in Z3 compound that is good for carpet, wood, cardboard, plastic and many other “indoor” surfaces.

The engines will hit the stores in January and, by the looks of things, may include .21 off-road and on-road as well as .12 on-road engines. Xray XB4 chassis weight set

Xray introduce this chassis weight set for the XB4 line of 1/10th buggies. Included are two 20g brass weights and suitable hardware to mount the weights in pre-shaped pockets right behind the LiPo battery packs. Adding weight in this position adds stability and traction and the parts fit both the XB4 4WD and 2WD buggy.

RDRP RB6 battery holder plate set

New from Revolution Design Racing Products comes the battery holder plate set for the Kyosho RB6 buggy. The set includes a battery hold down plate cut from high-quality carbon fibre as well as a 7075-T6 aluminium mounting plate. The latter comes black anodised and laser-etched, as usual with RDRP parts. The set is suitable for mid and rear motor buggies as well as all battery layouts including 2S shorty, stick and saddle packs. The parts offer a higher rigidity and increased looks over the stock moulded plastic braces and should also fit the new RT6 truck.

Mibosport Cup 2013/14 Rd3 – Report

The third round of the Mibosport Cup 2013/14 was held in Hrotovice last weekend. In the Touring Car Modified class, even with a little mistake in the first qualifying, Zdenko Kunák took the TQ ahead of Kuba Šimurda and David Nemček. Jaroslav Kopecký and Tomáš Marek completed the top 5. With a comfortable pace, Zdenko Kunák won the first A-final, making his way to the overall victory. The second A-final was better balanced – only a second separated Zdenko Kunák and Kuba Šimurda. With this tight win, Zdenko Kunák (Yokomo) secured the overall first place. The third A-final was won Kuba Šimurda (Xray) which meant second place overall with David Nemček (Xray) completing the podium.

ST Racing Concepts have heat-treated carbon steel universal driveshaft sets for the Axial SCX10 and Wraith off-road vehicles available. CNC-machined from high-quality steel and then heat treated for durability, the driveshafts add strength and increase the performance. Their design reduces backlash from the truck turning in tight radius, it improves acceleration, reduces binding and allows for more power to be continuously transferred to the wheel. They are also easy to assemble and drop right in with no modifications needed. The universals are completely rebuildable and come in gun metal or black colour as well as with green, silver or red anodised aluminium retainer sleeves.
