RDRP RB6 aluminium rear suspension mount set

RDRP RB6 aluminium rear suspension mount set-1

The RDRP RB6 Suspension Mount MM-RM2 Set allows to change the rear toe-in setting of the Kyosho RB6 buggy, RT6 stadium truck and SC6 short course truck within seconds. Included in the set are CNC-machined and black anodised 7075-T6 aluminium suspension mounts, designed to replace the stock plastic mounts with more durable and highly adjustable parts. The front RF2 mount mimics the stock geometry while the rear RR2 mount, included for both mid and rear motor vehicles, makes use of delrin inserts which, depending on the orientation, make for 2 degree, 3 degree or 4 degree toe-in settings to adjust the overall traction and side bite available from the vehicle’s rear end.

Exotek XB4 aluminium steering crank set

Exotek XB4 aluminium steering crank set

New from Exotek and made for the XB4 line of buggies is this steering bellcrank set. The set alters the steering link angle so that it matches the servo horn angle for equal left to right steering throw. The cranks also eliminate the servo saver assembly for exact steering input and straighter buggy tracking lap after lap. The crank set is available in orange or black colour and actually 0.8 gram lighter than the stock crank set as well so it will not alter the buggy’s weight bias.

Avid introduce new carbon fibre arm inserts for the Hot Bodies D812 buggy. With a thickness of 0.75mm they offer an in-between solution between the standard plastic and the optional 1.5mm carbon inserts that are only used in rare high-bite conditions. The Avid parts are cut from 1.5mm material but are heavily machined to offer pockets of 0.75mm thickness allowing to run the parts in a wide range of track conditions. The front inserts are also of an updated design to prevent them from breaking as the original parts can do. Bayer doubles at Czech 1/8th off-road nationals Rd1

The first round of the Czech Republic 1/8th off-road national championship took place this past weekend in Horni Jeleni. The race format saw four qualifying rounds on Saturday with the fifth and final qualifier being run on Sunday, followed by the finals. The weekend started out wet but the weather on Saturday cleared up and in the improving conditions it was Xray’s Martin Bayer who took the TQ in both the Nitro Buggy and E-Buggy classes. On Sunday, right before the semifinals, heavy rain poured down meaning the finals had to be cancelled. This handed Martin Bayer the win in the Nitro Buggy class from David Kukla and Jan Zamis.
